Awesome? Do you think this country is some kind of joke? Our tax payer money is spent on his fucking rich ass sitting there acting like he has a clue about a subject he has no fucking idea about. Him and Stewart are WAY over their heads with these stunts.

If you think this is "cool" or "awesome" you gotta be 12 years old now get the fuck off this board and back in school child.

Verbal 09-24-2010 12:16 PM

Well I think it's TOTALLY awesome!

fatfoo 09-24-2010 12:42 PM

It sounds very patriotic. I think the Colbert show uses an American eagle symbol, also.

How about sweet? Do you not think the country is being ran like a joke? No kidding, just think if he was serious and had a clue, ouch. What stunts? Like jumping over congressmen in the a-team van? Never saw it, but he does have some great skits.

If you think it's real you should just stop posting. :thumbsup

Real? Dude it WAS real, he WAS testifying before congress, it wasnt some kind of fake joke he was invited to a very serious hearing about illegal immigrants working in the United States.

Yes you are right this country is being run like a joke, thanks Obama.

If it's real, then all the better...it has some odd cuts that totally made it look fake though.

Either way it's about time they get jack slapped that it's a big fucking joke. Then sure, it's Obama too and every other President and every single person that makes any decision in the Gov for the last 100 years.

He should have thrown his shoes at them.

It is a disgrace but you cant blame this on Obama or Dems. Both parties are guilty. If I remember correctly the Republicans called on Elmo to testify in '02.

Absolutely agree, but theres a huge difference between family-safe Elmo and fucking cornpacking Colbert and his sidekick Jew Stewart :2 cents:

cambaby 09-24-2010 05:15 PM

And furthermore.... Mr Rogers was the BEST "celebrity" to testify before congress... he actually had KNOWLEDGE of the subject he was asked about. Watch it to the end itll pull your heart strings... if you have one.

Music instrument school funding a very worthy and legal goal unlike Mr Colbert who is championing illegal acts.

This didn't cost Tax payers a thing. He was not paid anything for this.

If you do not understand Stephen Colbert's humour or hate the man, then you are exactly the kind of person he is making fun of.

A single congressional hearing can cost upwards of 100k. He had seven capitol police assigned to him. So this is what its come to? You actually defend this kind of crap in our governmental system? It would be different if he were say a former illegal immigrant or actually worked on a farm for more than one photo shoot. He made a mockery of that hearing even some Democrats were cringing and asking him to leave. Other celebrity "experts" before him have NEVER made gay slur jokes, he even used a lot of racist overtones. He was quite simply disgusting and he knew he was way out of his league.

Im not an anti-semite, Jew Stewart is the one that hates his own people.

Interesting website "gamelink" now thats not gonna draw some children in is it?

The Porn Nerd 09-24-2010 08:12 PM

People on boards who get upset over celebrities and/or Congress must like peanut butter and clams, for the sky is orange and the sea is red, and the Lord shall smite butterflies in Texas, but never, never on a Sunday, on a Sunday, AFRICA UNITE!!

I think that pretty much covers it.

No, and I really resent the implication you are making. Simply because a site has a mainstream friendly name does not imply anythingt you are inferring.

Jon Stewart is a self hating jew? That is news to me. He may not be orthodox or even practicing, but you are filled with nothing but hate. When its even obvious to The Demon, you know you have issues.

Fetish Gimp 09-24-2010 09:23 PM

The greatest service clowns provide is that they can tell hurtful truths and social criticism disguised as jokes.

Therein lies the power of comedy.

umm..

Man you have a lot of hate. Feel sorry for you actually. I dont even know what "cornpacking" is a reference too but I'm going to assume you are going the gay route and I have no idea what Jon Stewart being Jewish (if he even is, I have no idea) has anything to do with Colbert testifying before congress.

I personally find both Colbert and Stewart to be hilarious. My son also loves Elmo. I personally think Heidi Klum is hot. Doesnt mean I think any of them need to speak before congress. It was always my understanding that congress was to be taken seriously and they are dealing with serious issues. My point was it's not a Democrat or Repulican issue, they both are guilty of it.

Hard to argue with you on that one.

Huh, this thread already proves that promoting websites on gfy or anything to do with adult content takes second seat to HATERS AND COMPLETE DOUCHBAGS.

This was a test of the public broadcast system.. If this had been a real emergency , your head would have exploded and little poofs of glitter would fly out, and we would all be much more entertained by your ridiculous statements that are made, blinded by your absolute lack of regard for anything as fucking hilarious as yourself.

lazerbunny 09-25-2010 08:00 AM

Back To The regularly scheduled broadcast.
Stephen Colbert is AWESOME.

He was not the only speaker, and he only spoke for 7 minutes. His flight, Hotel, Food and all other expenses were his. You watch too much of Greta on Fox News. She misreported this event the same way you are by suggesting that it costs Taxpayers $100,000 for his 7 minutes. This is not true.

To protect him from whackjobs who walk around with blinders on I'm sure. Agree with him or not, he has a right to say what he wants. Just like that idiot pastor in Florida who was going to burn the Qur'ans, he too had protection assigned to him. Outspoken speech is sure to upset the passionate and maybe push some over the edge.

Not at all. He made a mockery out of the incredible lack of response to the "Take our Jobs, Please" issue.

gumdrop 09-25-2010 09:28 AM

The members only laughed when Colbert made a sarcastic reference to Congress working for the people. I got a cold shivers when I heard that laugh.

Riffhard 09-25-2010 09:36 AM

It was good, but nothing will beat his speech at Bush's White House Dinner.

lazerbunny 09-25-2010 11:25 AM

Very True Indeed!
