Nice new skin on GFY today.

But, the real question is... Who is this affiliate program?

I sure as fuck want to know who is running it, how long they have been in business etc
until I even think of sending any traffic.

So, Fucking Awesome please feel free to chime in here any time now and let all us webmasters know.

Privacy Protected Whois info doesn't help for starters.

so ...if a program is new you wont even think about sending traffic unless they have a huge history in adult???

It just would be great if they jumped in here and introduced themselves and gave us some
more information about the program etc.

And with all the recent burning of affiliates, YES i sure as fuck have some trust issues.

I want to know who it is I am sending traffic to and IF they have a good track record or at least a CLEAN one etc...

i agree if they have had other programs in the past they should be transparent as to what they have done within this industry but if they havnt ..it isnt any reason to say fuck that we arnt sending traffic :)

personally - i would of just contacted them and asked them personally instead of a random board post :)

It sucks that GFY is just about taking the money and not really interested in protecting their community.

So yeah...they're related to Gossip Kings in some way. It's pretty obvious to me...it's almost as if they didn't bother trying to hide it aside from the privacy protection.

Two things.
1. There are so few people buying skins you can't blame them for taking the money.

2. It's not their job to police the industry. If they did they'd probably never take anybody's advertising money.

1. That SIG is hilarious.

2. To police the industry is so hard since we all draw a different line in the sand. Don't get me wrong I have been banned here over the tube script skin but even I have to say its not GYS's job to look into every affiliate program that buys ad space.

It didn't take long to figure out who was running this. Probably less time when they're actually cutting you a check.

They know that the folks involved in this have scammed thousands of dollars from GFY members...but still take the check. And yes, they should probably police their own site and protect the community they've built. If they respect it.

With what has been going on, sending a new program traffic with out a little info is pretty stupid.

for me its always suspicious when no real contact person is listed - and no company info. when you do honest business it's no shame to put your name on it :2 cents:

I dont see GFY as a community, It's a platform for loud webmasters to shout and focus on the glass being half empty, rather than doing something productive.

First priority for the team behind GFY is to generate profit. They provide a service, and unless we want to pay for our membership, we dont have any rights to complain about the advertisers.

GossipKings.com - the rep that always spams me for GossipKings spammed be about the new program about 2-3 days ago via ICQ. Looks like they bought content from a number of people. Ass Smoothie content, content from a program that released within the last year here on GFY (WillSheExplode, Gagalicious, etc). :2 cents:

No idea who they are. The header is yellow. Yellow is the color evoked by light that stimulates both the L and M (long and medium wavelength) cone cells of the retina about equally, with no significant stimulation of the S (short-wavelength) cone cells. Good luck.

The content looks like Easton's work... quality stuff.

The sites, though... look like shit. Sure, the content is nice, the girls are good looking but there's absolutely no personality behind the designs and presentation. I wouldn't promote any of these sites based on that alone. Looks like a dime a dozen.

Well good luck to them but that means I won't be signing up with them. I don't find such things to be affiliate friendly or a good indicator of the type of partnership I wish to have with a sponsor.

I already saw their logo on the WebmasterAccess site a while back, they seem to be one of the big sponsors for the show as well. There are a few guys from Fuckingawesome at the show hotel already, doesn't look like they are trying to hide their identity.
