eHarmony: The Real Pimp.
A new commerical for eHarmony shows a whimpy man discussing how difficult it is to meet a woman online with all emails you have to write and how hard it is to figure out which girl is right for him. He likes eHarmony because they find you the right woman with the right specs.
DOES ANYBODY SEE ANYTHING WRONG WITH THIS TREND? "Too difficult to find your own woman online"... Too difficult to point and click and do your own search.... now we need somebody else to find you love in this world? The only thing humans have left, that has nothing to do with machines, is the chemistry of love. Now we leave that up to some program written by some college kids telling us who we should date and who we should forget. This is beyond Big Brother and beyond control. We are taking away the last human experience. Falling in love. Do you want to tell your grandkids how a computer set you up with grandmother? Are we slowly becoming live stock? Will computers begin to breed us in the future? What's next in the search criteria... blood type, eggs left in the ovaries, sperm count.... The future looks dark in regards to love. |
It's this blasted piece of machinery we're all on...it's tearing the fabric of society apart!
It could be worse...wait til the commercial instead has a really good looking guy, or even worse, a really good looking WOMAN saying the same thing (which is pretty much what happens in phone chat commercials). Hot woman: OMG, it's so hard to like meet guys you know? I mean yes whenever I walk outside, I'm so hot that I instantly have 10 cocks in my asshole, but seriously, I'm just really fucking stupid and don't know how to do anything. But then I found eHarmony, and they told me which guys said they were sensitive, that they treat women like queens, etc. I realize it's probably bullshit and they're actually drooling retards whose cocks I'm probably already sitting on, but I just want to pay some site gobs of money to make me feel better, and eHarmony was there for me! |

There do seem to be a lot of people with no ability to think for themselves who need a site to match them up. |

I heard somewhere that eHarmony encourages affairs.
|
Back to the good old "arranged marriages", eh...
|
Maybe if we were scientifically matched up we'd end up more and love and the divorce rate would drop. :)
|
I can see it both ways, Laziness and if you rather have someone else help you.
It can go either way. Sometimes someone else can see you better then you see yourself. |
i remember in grade 5 or so they had us do this match making thing for valentines day. answer a bunch of questions and they'll pick the girls in your grade that were most suited for you. same idea i guess. eharmony is a joke though, full of girls who think because they match you with people that these people will be perfect for you when 9 times out of 10 they are anything but. sluts who fucked their way through their 20's and now want to 'settle down'...watch out!
|
Did I hear someone say SLUT's ? ? ?
Now I am listening closely, go on . . . |
Ever met someone that dates a person that isn't good for them? Maybe eharmony or chemistry is for them....
|
Really smart because it appeals mostly to women, which is what makes a dating site appealing to guys.
It's just pandering to the general woman who treat relationships as if they were grocery shopping. Just a list of wants and needs. |

why not have a computer do the weeding out of the first date losers. |
Every time there's a commercial brak here on t.v (Australia) I see an ad for EHarmony. They must have a huge advertising budget!
|
i think its kind of stupid, you're better off getting dates as quick as possible and going on them than spending the time searching for the "perfect match" on a computer. you can never tell about someone until you spend some time with them.

It's a very sad evolution of the species that is happening right now, every day. They boast 1 out of 5 relationships start online. 100 years from now 1 out of 5 relationships will start without the internet. Evolution is a slow process. The conditioning has already begun. |
