Hey Epass... Why did you just charge me $35.00 for the Visa Annual Fee if I can't use it?

i would consider that fraud and file a complaint with Visa and the FTC. They are charging you for something that they can't provide...

Because they cannot 'access' those funds.

That was back in August before the cards were down, so they didn't access the VV to do so while it was supposedly down.

They charged mine literally the exact day before the shit hit the fan. Kinda makes you wonder, did they know what was coming and wanted to rip off as many people as they could before the funds were froze?

My card wasn't due for renewal until September 30....why did they take out the $35 on the 1st of the month?

Anyway, I should be able to get that money back, since I never received a new card and obviously it is useless now. Although the chance of that happening is about as great as me having a solid bowel movement.

As far as charging you before it was due, I think they do that so they can mail it out so you have the new one before that one expires.

they always charge for VISA Electron at the beginning of the month, because they have expenses to actually make the card and ship it out. It's been always like that...

I pay $30 a year for my Danish card, from my Danish bank. So whats your problem?

We are still waiting to solve this situation and if you will not get the functionality of your cards back you will get the fees back. We are waiting for the outcome of this before a decision is made on this.

I agree that there should be no fee, because the account does not work.
