Filezilla here...

Been using Cute FTP Pro for years now.
I'm sure there must be other good ones out there to! Filezilla perhaps?

i used to use flashfxp (paid) but then i tried filezilla, so much faster, and has tabs, all around a better product, and free too.

Filezilla. I've used several paid FTP scripts, and none of them comes even close to Filezilla.

Filezilla FTW been using it for a few years now.

FileZilla or if I just need to do something quick I have my server setup as a shortcut on my desktop in Windows 7.

I started off using Cute back in the 90's, but I've been in the Filezilla camp for years now. :)

Another vote for filezilla.

FTP Commander for me, the UI isn't the best but I've never had security issues.
I like the FileZilla UI but it has some online/local client security issues.

i only used CuteFTP when I was on Windows. Found it to be more user friendly than others at the time. Now I use a combo of Coda+Transmit

ftp daemon is easy to hack you should be turning it off and running winscp to transfer files.

I love Filezilla but i am trying a 30 day trial of CuteFTP pro right now, I am about a week in and I don't know if I will be converted by the time the trial is over.

$80 vs free is not hard to evaluate, but CuteFTP encrypts the password file and Filezilla does not.

I already have a license for CuteFTP standard, but you have to upgrade to Pro in order to do SFTP, I hate that.

CuteFTP for ease of use :)

I switched to CuteFTP from Filezilla when I found out Filezilla's ftp user/passwords are not secure. My fault, not Filezilla though. Now I don't let any FTP program keep user/pass in a file.

Fire FTP for Firefox. Uploads are just another firefox tab. Works on both PC and Mac.
