At least he plans to pay people... even though it ended abruptly.

i had problems with him paying me before it took him a while.. but he did pay at the end, and haven't promoted him for months now..

Haven't there been a few abrupt "we will still pay you" shutdowns lately that never did?

most said they would pay. only a couple did after tons of hectoring.

I am quite sure they will pay - run by long time veterans. Whats the reasons for suspending though? They are themselves still doing excellently in the serps

Wouldn't be the first to ditch affiliates once the traffic flow has been steady on other aspects, nor the last.

Guess we'll have to see how many of those serps remain after hundreds of affiliates take their links down.


EDIT - If I'm not mistaken, this site was also up for sale early this year.

Really? So if he's such a good guy why did he promise me a payment last week and renig? Why does he ignore icqs? And now he denies access to the affiliate area. Luckily I grabbed screenshots and will be taking a little road trip next week. Small claims court here I come. Already gotta file against someone else in the same county, might as well file two lawsuits. Fuck this bullshit.

you're going to fly 24 hours all the way to Australia just to sue a sponsor in small claims court?

i think you can hire a lawyer there to do this on your behalf.

I'm still making good money. I hate to say it but I think a lot of people just don't know how to run a business (not saying that's the case here). Many yet are just outright crooks (Again not saying that's the case here).

Tom, i will pay you today. Also, the reason I closed it was becuase I was probably the only honest webmater in adult dating. I didn't shave. It is nearly impossible to make money off affiliates unless you shave. I mean even when i was making $90 per sale cross selling, after all the expenses involved in actually getting the sale i was barely breaking even. The thing is there is no honest traffic out there anymore. All the honest traffic is sold upfront to media buyers, not sent to affiliate programs. Everyone has bullshit traffic from spamming in one sort or another, email spam, cl spam, backpage. Toms traffic was legit though.

also, picture this. some affiliate sends you 5k in sales. most dont rebill, a ton chargeback, and the affiliate wants his 7k in commissions it shows in his stats. I made around 3k so far off him before rebills. His traffic is obviously shitty and yet he is demanding his 7k. The guy knows where i live, he knows my real name, and he knows what kind of car i drive. Now what? so i get a few death threats and shit like that so i pay him just so i dont have to deal with him anymore. This busineess is just not meant for me.

I wonder what happens to all the smaller affiliates that are owed?
