How Does Zombaio Bypass the Visa Fee?

Don't get me wrong, I love Zombaio...great support, on time payments...and NO VISA FEE!!. But how they do it? Are they paying the Visa fee out of their own pockets? Every other adult billing solution I have seen requires the site owner to pay the annual Visa fee to process Visa transactions (which I think is $700 1 time, and $500 annually)

CYF 09-20-2010 12:16 PM

I think they pay it for you.

That's what it says on their site: if so, it's a nice way to get new business :2 cents:

Maybe because they are Sweden based

iSpyCams 09-20-2010 12:22 PM

They bypass it by making you a partner in their EU based company.

Website says they pay the registration fee, which is a nice feature. Of course there's plenty of margin in their pricing to cover this.

DigitalTheory 09-20-2010 12:55 PM

I also remember seeing Thomas say they was not gonna be covering it for much longer.

Vendzilla 09-20-2010 01:00 PM

why question it, I mean, it works

* Zombaio pays network registration fees for all clients.
That doesn't say it pays the Visa reg fee. "Network Registration" could mean alot of things. How about somebody emails and asks them specifically if they pay the Visa reg fee?

Who thinks the Visa application fees are straight-up extortion? Bullshit at the very least.

And even assuming they have merit (which I do not believe), then what justifies an "annual renewal" fee? They got $750 to "approve" you, and then they need $500 per year thereafter to "re-approve" you?

Stinks if you ask me...

Lightning 09-20-2010 02:48 PM

We are using zombaio and have nothing but great things to say about them. No visa application fees and MUCH less of a processing fee than all the other processors take out of your pockets. I think Zombaio is fair in their charges and their biz model is to make a fair profit and not to rape everyone.:2 cents::pimp

I just asked Thomas to come to this thread when he has time. You will get your answer soon.

For US Merchants, we right now (but not for much longer) pay the fee.
For EU Merchants, there are no fee.

TCLGirls 09-20-2010 03:17 PM

What is the status for Canada merchants?

For EU Merchants, there is no fee.

no visa fee = sweet!

I'm a big ccbill fan but I may add zombaio to our sites in seperate tours as an option. Good stuff.

BIGTYMER 09-20-2010 09:07 PM

What more could you ask for? Zombaio rocks!

leg4 09-21-2010 12:05 AM

If Zombaio is not going to pay the Visa fee anymore... for US/CA--- How will this be handled?
Will people that already have Zombaio accounts not ever have to pay this?
Or will we begin paying the Visa $$ fee?
Will you require one lump $700? Or taken out over time?

Just curious,
Thanks

For current active US/CA clients with positive balance on the accounts, we will keep paying the fees.

For EU Clients, there are no fee.

For new clients and current inactive clients:
What we are discussing internally right now is that the annual fee will be deducted from the processing. After processing for the annual fee is completed, payouts will go as normal.

Now, there are no date set yet for when we will stop paying the fees, but probably in the beginning of next year.

leg4 09-22-2010 11:48 PM

Tomas, thanks for the answers.

And bump...for Zombaio.

TCLGirls 09-24-2010 11:58 AM

Don't charge the VISA fee please =)
