Mr. Skin Announcement (re: Flashcash) and October Offer
 

Effective October 1st Mr. Skin will be ending it's partnership with the Flashcash affiliate program.

We have come to this decision primarily in order to regain control over our brand identity. While it has been a positive relationship in many ways over the years, we have also come to realize that it has been the source of confusion for end users and affiliates of both companies. I would like to thank Flashcash and their affiliates for all of the hard work promoting the Mr. Skin brand over the past decade.

Moving forward, affiliates who wish to promote Mr. Skin will be able to do so exclusively through our own Mr. Skin Cash affiliate program. We continue to improve our product daily with constant split testing of landing pages, creation of unique, custom promotional tools and top notch customer service. We also boast the largest, best organized and most updated member area in the celebrity niche which means member retention that you won't see with any other site. In the current climate of uncertainty regarding many programs, we are also a sponsor that you can count on to be there for the long term. We are always looking for the right partners to work with to build profitable and sustainable relationships. Damn I must be out of the loop. I didn't even know flashcash and mrskin were together.

I have no comment about any of it.

We are currently working to get an account set up. They have been slow to respond as has been noted in other threads, but hopefully that will change soon. We will post an announcement when it is available.

are you guys ever going to do a male celebs site? i think it would kill.

To clarify what the relationship entailed...for most of the past decade affiliates could promote Mr. Skin either through MrSkinCash or Flashcash. That is no longer the case. Our companies are/were not linked in any other way.

It's been discussed and debated for years. I won't get into all of the details, but while we haven't ruled it out, it's not a top priority for us right now.

MrSkin is getting old, give out some fresh meat and get a few other celebrity sites on the list.

That is not in the plans. Our program is built on a superior quality product and a generous revenue share with our partners. It is a sustainable model that ensures that we'll be thriving, paying our affiliates for years to come when many others are long gone.

I'm not sure what you are saying here. The only thing "old" about Mr. Skin is the age of the company (11+ years), which is something that we are obviously proud of.

In terms of our site design, usability, content quality and quantity, it continues to evolve and improve each day. If you haven't checked out the site recently, I suggest you do. We've also continued to develop dynamic new tools for webmasters which I'd be glad to explain in greater detail if you are interested.

Unless they start offering PPS I won't consider promoting MrSkin again. MrSkin is the best celeb site out there but their webmaster program is worthless. Sorry.

Have you ever actually promoted us? If so please IM or email me your affiliate ID so I can take a look at your account. We've got a huge affiliate base and the ones that are doing it right are have been making big money with us for years.

Just added you on ICQ. Contact me to discuss what type of banners and links you would like to use. I'm sure we can find something that will work for both of us. We primarily just want to make sure we are branded properly and no false claims are made.
