ebay vs. Craiglslist vs. ???

What do you think works best these days for selling crap online?

I have had much better luck with craigslist vs ebay. It's less hassle as I don't have to ship things or lose $$ from paypal taking its cut.

Are there any other good places to sell online? I'm about to clean my garage and list everything i haven't used in 6 months for sale. fun fun fun

craigslist used to be good, but now a days the bots/email harvesters/scammers have overtaken it... for every legit reply you get 5 bogus ones...
not to mention the idiots who offer one tenth of what the item is worth...

I just sold a printer on CL in no time no hassles, I wish i had a place to get some good products cheap on credit i could move a lot of shit on there :) CL sux tho now for real estate i was doing a lot of apartment rentals etc for friends and now it sux and lots of BS scams, but selling good it was great :)

I sold some stuff recently. Put it on Backpage, eBay Classifieds (Kijiji) and CL at the same time. Zero response from eBay Classifieds and Backpage. Sold everything within 2 days thru people from CL.

I recently got a killer deal on an office chair from craigslist. My good chair broke and the company that makes it was sending me parts. It was going to be about 3 weeks for them to get to me. I got on craigslist and got a pretty nice chair for $15 to hold me over.

I have sold a car, camper, canopy and some assorted stuff on Craigs and always got good results. However, I have also sold a lot of stuff on ebay and have gotten some good results.

My suggestion would be if it is just crap you want to move cheap just to get rid of it, go craigslist. If it is something you want to sell for a little more money, is easily shippable and could be in high demand, try ebay first. You can always set an ebay reserve
