Anyone Else Get This Alert?

ZeuS.Zbot.aoaq is a new variant of a financial Trojan virus that steals banking passwords and financial account data, resulting in unauthorized money transfers.

* ZeuS Trojan family has infected millions of PCs worldwide.
* It infects computers through email or unauthorized downloads from infected websites.
* ZeuS is rarely detected by antivirus because it changes form rapidly.

Appears to be a ScareWare alert straight out of the Bush Administration.
:2 cents:

Fake and merely an underhanded sales ptich from Zone Alarm!

http://ethicsgradient.net/2010/09/17...oaq-scareware/

" was slightly confused by it seeing that I?ve never seen it do this before. So I clicked ?See Threat Details? to be taken to this page telling me that only ZoneAlarm Security Suite can protect me against this new trojan. The page shows a table with other antivirus software such as Avast and Norton that do not find the virus. Not using any of these and knowing my antivirus is capable of detecting viruses that aren?t in the database I decided to Google the virus to see more info about it.

Turns out this is a fake or scareware. ZoneAlarm have made this up to try and get you to buy their products. Do not be fooled."

Just the facts, Ma'am.

Sally.
