I sent $1 it says waiting on you to accept, what I'm concerned about is that it required a nickname so i entered hddirector I hope that doesnt screw it up, did you make a nickname when you created the account at chase?

Payment accepted. Says it will take some time to "clear" and be put into my account. I have an account with them so I am not sure how others take their money out of this thing.

I added my non chase account .. says Chase ACCOUNTS take 1 day and non Chase Accounts take 2-5 days... Ill let you know how long mine takes..

Read the rules on other accounts. Nice, no transfer fees on Chase end and most banks won't charge for inbound ACH...

Looks like a nice way to move cash... of course ePassporte was instant, but this is free to anyone no matter what bank you are banking with.

We have that in Canada, used it many times http://www.interac.ca/consumers/prod...ces_ol_emt.php the cost is $1.50 to send an eMail Interac payment. Would be great if it worked across the border as well.

Yeah this seems sweet. What's really nice is its the same as a wire but the sending and recieving parties don't need to know each others bank account numbers.

Yep, I was looking for a catch to this but there isn't one. It's a smart move by Chase to pick up new customers that use other banks. People see this cool service then get themselves a chase account. Good low cost advertising for Chase.

Non Chase accounts these transactions are treated as ACH deposits or withdrawels. So it's basically wires with no wire transfer fees. Non Chase accounts can send or recieve to chase accounts once they are signed up.
