First he comes in and bids $100 (when it was around 50) and everyone else was raising the bid $1,$2, so on .. so while I am sleeping the forum mod deletes his bid .. everyone goes back to raising the bid a buck or two at a time ... he comes back and bids $100 again .. mod let's it stand this time

So some guy bids $102 LOL

He comes back with $500

Not so much the no nonsense attitude of those here but the sheer stupidity of assholes at NamePros and pretty much every other mainstream forum.

Yes the $1 and $2 bid increases were getting annoying to me too ...

Those mainstream boards can be money makers though - I didn't expect it but I got $600 through SP for hostingcommunity.com - not a bad domain, had it in my big head it was worth $1000 easy ... but I am guessing that was end user price.

Then again I am horrible at this domain thing, except knowing even @ $500 someone gets a deal on yourfantasy.com :)

A big chunk of mainstream webmasters makes money in cents through adsense or other similar programs. So, they think twice while spending. We make in bulk, so we spend in bulk.
