who thinks epass issue will resolve it self

who thinks it will be a lost cause?

anonymous poll.

curious to see results.

fatfoo 09-17-2010 02:09 PM

fris, what action would you take if the epass issue did not resolve itself?

Shap 09-17-2010 02:12 PM

Epassporte sent out more than $1,000,000 in wires in the past 7 days. If they didn't have any intention of getting their business back on track they would have never sent out that money. They are working their asses off to get this resolved.

zeuse 09-17-2010 02:18 PM

I wanted to vote 'no more fucking epass' poles but the the option was missing.

Shap mentions 1 mill' in epass wires in a week and i'm guessing he is just going on what he has seen on gfy. Theres a massive world outside GFY, have some patience and let them fix their issues.

the Shemp 09-17-2010 02:19 PM

im still accepting epass for ads/galleries etc...

I don't base anything I say on GFY LOL. I'm basing it on friends I know that received wires this week.

I have been ripped off by processors and companies enough over the years to be able to see and feel how somethin going. This is playing out almost exactly the same as the last times..

In the unlikely event we get access to our money again, the run on them will close them for good as everyone races to pull their cash out asap before they run dry.

I would have to agree with you. I just have a feeling this may work itself out.

Don't have "What is epass?" option?? :error

Sabby 09-17-2010 02:49 PM

its the bank, not visa, are they claiming its visa?

because for visa its a win win, all profit, no chargebacks with the cards, no support.

Steiger 09-17-2010 03:42 PM

by the way, i know for a fact that with every wire they send they ask to MENTION THAT on the forums. the admin of umaxforum said that. he was able to get $50k+ and they asked him to let the people know :-)

wolfshade 09-17-2010 03:55 PM

Yes they will, but chances are by then it is far to late and they go belly up anyway.

I'm happy to wait another fortnight or so. Let's say if it's not operational again by the start of October, then it'll be too late. Enough confidence in their product has been lost so far.
Epass was a great way for me to recieve money, but as I've changed my payment methods back to check, it'll have to be running smoothly again & for some time for me to use it, that is assuminmg programs trust them enough to use them again.

HighEnergy 09-17-2010 05:22 PM

I voted Yes, but with a smaller piece of the processing pie.

Crooks generally don't mind dealing with other crooks who are dealing with other crooks.
It's a symbiotic mutually dependent relationship.

Many program owners fuck over affiliates,
Many program owners fuck over end users,
Many affiliates fuck over program owners,
Many affiliates fuck over end users,
Many end users fuck over program owners,
Many end users fuck over affiliates,
Many processors have/do fuck over them all.

Risk takers (or those who are easily intimidated) often think they don't have much to lose.
So the "half a loaf is better than none" people will stay. And stay and stay and stay.

Since multitudes of program owners, their affiliates, and surfers have that "half a loaf" attitude ePass will probably stay in the game. But with a much smaller footprint.

B2B (vendors/suppliers) could have a completely different outlook.
I determined early on (05/06) that ePass was a "baffle 'em with bullshit" entity. They (he) targeted users who had no other viable or practical choice. Basic marketing really, find a niche and fill it. Delivering a promise is all that's required, delivering the goods is actually secondary.

I've said it many times before,
"The only difference between rape and seduction is salesmanship."

ePass users `en masse` have been seduced.

My 2 cents fris ..........

Has any average joe webmaster gotten his money out of the wallet since this started?

Chosen 09-17-2010 05:53 PM

I've always been optimistic :)

ThumbLord 09-17-2010 05:54 PM

it is clear, well to me that is, that ePassporte will go down, then Payoneer will be used, they suck and will go down, we try OkPAY and then alertpay will be the only option left.
We should start looking and investigating AlertPay as the new ePassporte but heh.

I guess so, but there are so many of them. Which one to read?

In almost every thread regarding ePassporte you will find that many people have successfully withdrawn their wallet money via ACH & personal credit/debit cards.

HomerSimpson 09-17-2010 06:32 PM

nothing solves by itself
but if they put some efforts in I think that it's possible...

18teens 09-17-2010 06:36 PM

I sure as hell hope they do.

How long did it take? I did a small withdrawal 10 days ago by ACH. Nothing yet.

It should take 2-4 days, so I guess there's something wrong with your withdrawal.
