This was originally posted in the latest ePassporte statement thread but I feel it deserves its own thread...

Hmm... When I am doing consulting work for a client I like to keep in constant communication with them. I am not one of those, "Hey, the dog ate my homework," kind of people and I feel like this loss of communication is giving me that sense for what they are doing.

It is really that simple!

Hello, we are working on several different ideas to get the VISA cards you currently have in your possession reinstated. Should those fail we are also already looking into how we can quickly get new cards re-issued with a different bank. The later of which will take considerably more time. We would like to let you know that we are solvent and we are NOT going anywhere. We have noticed that a lot of programs have removed us as a payout option and we would like to remind those programs and their affiliates that we are still a good option especially in the US to receive payments that you can quickly ACH into your bank account.

Now was it really that fucking hard? And it would reinstate the trust that is currently eroding with each passing day!

I have nothing but utmost respect for Chris Mallick. He helped me get where I am today and I personally thank him for that. I am posting this to let him and the rest of the ePassporte crew know that communication isn't all that hard. I used to be the wall-flower type. I know shit sucks when the chips are down. But letting us know more than vague generalized statements would be so much more helpful.

The adult community isn't like the mainstream community. When you put yourself out there and lay it all out on the line we band together to help you. Mainly because we have all either been there or feel that way since we have all been ostracized by the mainstream community whether it be banks, personal friendships, etc.

So can you give us something with a little more bite please?

That still doesn't give any more information really. What people want to know is some timeframes and that's not hard to do either. Everyone knows shit happens so there's no reason they can't say something like "baring any unforseen issues, we're hoping to have the Visa cards reactivated within X working days but we'll keep you updated if that time frame changes. If this becomes a non viable option, then setting things up with a new bank and issuing new cards will take xx-xx days."

Simple.
