This looks like a scene with ancient gladiators fighting at the Colosseum. The police hit the man after he is down on the ground. By the way, talks are happening right now to do a restoration of the Colosseum building, because they want the whole building to stand again (not just a partly ruined building).

In the US, the cops would have drawn their weapons in that situation and someone would have gone down.

No doubt some fans asked themselves why the one cop started jabbing the pinned man with his club, why another cop did too, and why a third cop pushed the first one away to stop it. I think thats probably what people object to, not the doing of a job.

I have to agree here. The police and 'security' in a lot of countries take it over the top after they have people down. Take the old dude in Alaska for example.

This happens all to often, officer gets ramped up on the chase, the poor bastard gets caught, they direct their energy of the chase to said bastards head....And as was said, the fuck doing the jabbing was the first to flee, cops are pussies, very few have the self control to handle most situations with any self control. The prick doing the most beating has something deeper in his life wrong, not just some guy running on the field.

I just do not like the fact that 5 grown men stick knees, elbows and sticks to the bastard, sure he was in the wrong, but do they really need the tactic they use to catch and control the situation? Too many free shots from what I saw.

I would love to give the police the "benefit of the doubt", but have been proven wrong many times over. ALL I have met have proven this to be true. ...picked on when they where kids, wife left them due to job related stress, maybe they have little dick syndrome??? They have a shitty job, and they make sure anyone dealing with them knows it.
