Can you still make money from banners/buttons ???
 

I run a few tgps and in the past I strayed away from banners/buttons because I just didn't like the clutter for the few sales I got from them. Now with times being a little tougher, I'm reconsidering. With surfers being smarter now, I was just wondering if anyone is still making traffic from them.

all I've ever used to promote sponsors were banners....I'm focused on promoting my own shit so I'm not going to do shit to help somebody else out besides slap a banner up.

People arent buying shit, and if they are sponsors shave so much you wont get credit or they will never pay you at all. They are getting so desperate they are doing individual lawsuits now. Dont promote any of these fucks, they are dieing. If you are smart go pick up an old Playboy magazine and check what they used for advertising *wink*.

This is the most honest advice you will ever get on this board because I hate these fuckers, you are welcome.

im using them again i also didnt like the clutter but as you said times are tougher so fuck it.

As for sales in comparison to other ad form? As far as i know not great but also not terrible

im using ero-advertising banners and using my own ads as fillers too, also tried using choker popunder for awhile but got sick of the tubesites showing up, i mean its fine if they pop up real ads, but to pop a tube site on my picture tgp is Directly Competing with my site

im also using juicy ads but their filler ads pay much lower then ero-advertising, also their system for using your own ads is not so advanced, you can only use images and cannot rotate between several ads. compared to ero-advertising where you can use iframes and set individual weights for each ad.

imo its only worth using juicy for selling directly to ad buyers because they have automatic-pricing which ero lacks..im still using juicy for now..but that might change next month when my only ad buyer ends his 1 month spot

tried plugrush for awhile but i seriously doubt they will last as a 'plug seller', just my opinion.

my review

ero-advertising - best filler price, best own ad system, lacking in automatic pricing, has other ad types like popunders, layers

juicy ads - only good for selling direct to ad buyers, filler ad income sucks, 'own ads' system is really basic

plugrush - hardly any paid plugs, min payout $100, combine both and you get the answer

choker popunder - pops up tubes, aggressive raw pops can over-piss surfers but earn u more money, probably suitable for tube site owners

Thanks for the info everyone, maybe I'll have to pop a couple up in a non-cluttering way and see how it goes, every extra dollar counts in these days.

it all depends on the quality of the product you're selling. We are getting better sales using AnaTranny banners than text links. Why? Because her beauty speaks for itself, but you can't describe it good enough in just a text link.
