Because rankings do NOT solely depend on keywords, this isnt 1994 you guys!

You can optimize your pages for years but without other stuff like PageRank you will never hit the #1 spot.

Go read around, anyone who promises #1 is a liar.


BUT HEY, if you do want to give it a shot wait till you see your site in the #1 spot before you pay a dime

Your right, there is alot envolved in this area of optimization, linking, pointing and so on.

Don't pay anyone that makes that promise, cause they can't guarentee what the end result will be and how long if it all you get that #1 position. A submission service can submit and optimize your site and that is it!:warning

i could write a search engine and guarantee a #1 ranking on it every time. it wouldn't be as popular as google.com overnight, but everyonesnumberone.com would eventually take over as the world's premier search engine.

We deal with an SEO firm that works with Fortune 500 clients and small guys. We had them do a seminar at a local university small business function.

The one thing he said over and over was "Content Is King" and any company that says they will get a #1 ranking for your company is a liar. They may be able to get rank on 3-4 word key phrases but a 1-2 word is next to impossible without cheating, and when caught you are screwed. Home Depot used doorway pages a few years back and Google buted their chops for about 6 months.

A peson needs to do a keyword analysis and take those 2 keyword terms and add 1-2 more deeper search terms and then make their page relevant and have the keyword content, title and subject headings (H1 tags) and then slowly start working your pages to rank.

They will tell us and our non Adult clients that it may take 3-6 months to get on page 1 or 2. Also even if you are # 1 you are never going to hold rank. Google looks for changes to keep rank and the big thing is that Google and the others are in business to provide a product people will trust and continue to use. People that mess with that are usually taught a lesson ie Blacklisted.

I absolutely agree. Unless the SE optimiser owns yahoo or so, they can't be able to optimise your site to hold #1 position on greatest keywords. Getting the #1 to #3 position is a hard work or just a luck.

And if NotJoe would READ a fucking post before he starts talking shit he would understand that I've been saying that it is NOT EASY, instantaneous, nor does it use any tricks or anything that will get you banned. It is hard work. But it is 100% doable for any keyword out there.

110% pure bullshit. Of course anything is achievable but you have to have sensible bounds. However you personally cannot get a site to No1 position for any keyword - no matter how much work you put in as there are FAR too many factors some of which you will never manage especially in adult. To say that you can just proves you a fool.
