Two dutch guys have been arrested in Bulgaria for producing porn and putting it online.
The men can get one year in prison for this.

I was suprised as well.
They have soft porn playing at busstations and with the outbreak of syfilis in Prague some years ago the Bulgarian chicks were very much in demand. They might have filmed them outside of Bulgaria of course.

From the article I get the impression that it is since no weird forms of porn are mentioned.

This is exactly right. I lived in Sofia for a year and it completely run by the mafia.

I knew that producing porn is illegal in Ukraine. I did not realize it is in Bulgaria too. Interesting.

Varna. An organized criminal group dealing with online pornography been busted in coastal city of Varna, the press office of the Interior Ministry announced.
Two Dutch nationals and a 19-year-old girl have been detained in the frames of a special police operation carried out at a hotel in the St Nikola region in the city.
The group used to run pornographic websites. The operation was carried out under the guidance of the Regional Prosecution Office.

Seven people have been interrogated in the frames of the investigation, three of whom girls. The girls testified against the foreign nationals, providing evidence for their criminal actions – they were at work in the hotel during the night.

Authorities searched three premises equipped as studios and confiscated two portable computers, documents for company registered on one of the Dutch nationals, a contract for Internet services, an accountancy book with the work hours of the girls and their payment, as well as other documents.

Work on the case continues.

Police have arrested two Dutch men in Bulgaria for distributing pornography on the Internet, the interior ministry said on Wednesday.

The men, aged 26 and 28, were arrested on Tuesday in the Black Sea resort of Varna. Police also detained a 19-year-old Bulgarian girl, although details of her role were not given.

According to the ministry, the suspects were involved in shooting pornographic videos in a Varna hotel and distributing them on the Internet.

A search of two hotel rooms that had been converted into small film studios revealed a number of pay slips to girls who had been filmed by the men.

Police have already questioned seven hotel employees and they confirmed the gang's criminal activities, the ministry said.

If found guilty of producing and distributing pornography, the two men could face up to one year in prison. - Sapa-AFP

Actually I wanted to say that those two dutch guys are complete idiots if they were shooting porn in Bulgaria. They've been punished for their own cretinism.

The Balkans are an ideal playground for pornographers. And there's a reason why many girls get picked up in small towns there and later get enslaved to work in prostitution. The balkan states (Macedonia, Bulgaria) have some of the best looking girls. They like to dress-up everywhere they go.

I've spent a couple of months this year in a town in Macedonia. It was simply crazy. Maybe it's because there is nothing for the girls to do. The town is kind of a micro-climate of posers. And they have a saying that for one guy, there's at least 5 girls.

I've also visited Albania this year. The laws must be similar there - because sex in public can get you one year in prison as well.
