It's good to see the tea party rip the guts out of the republicans

Delaware and NY, the big story is, teabaggers teabag the republicans, and make them suck hairy bag.

Really, you could hardly ask for anything better. The teaparty NY Gov candidate seems particularly rabid. "?We are mad as hell,? Mr. Paladino said in a halting but exuberant victory speech in Buffalo shortly after 11 p.m. ?New Yorkers are fed up. Tonight the ruling class knows. They have seen it now. There is a people?s revolution. The people have had enough.? "

Something similar is happening here and there among the dems, tho not quite as dramatically, as the dems are in general more passive.

Should be a fun couple of years. Absolute gridlock in congress, the republican old guard living in terror, more rage and threats from the baggers as their lack of a policy strikes home.

The only winners are the corporations and the corporate media. Just as the corporations wanted - they get to continue stripping the real wealth of the country while the government is paralyzed.

Metafilter has a post about Christine O'Donnell, the woman who beat the republicans picked successor to joe bidens seat. Turns out her previous work in politics was as an anti-masturbation lobbyist, lol. if she hates jerking off, she must hate us porn peddlers real bad.

And Karl Rove don't like her:

http://www.metafilter.com/95734/Chri...ary-for-Senate

"O'Donnell, it seems, is opposed to masturbation, and considers looking at pornography akin to adultery. And back in the 90s, though the hair was different and Joan Osborne's 90's mainstay "One Of Us" played in the background, O'Donnell maintained a similar stance: "The Bible says that lust in your heart is committing adultery. You can't masturbate without lust!""

Quote:

Tea Party candidate and Sarah Palin endorsee Christine O'Donnell - a former chastity lobbyist - has defeated the longest-serving Congressman in Delaware's history by six percentage points to claim the Republican nomination for Vice President Biden's former Senate seat - despite Karl Rove's televised statements to Sean Hannity that she says "nutty things": It does conservatives little good to support candidates who, at the end of the day, while they may be conservative in their public statements, do not evince the characteristics of rectitude and truthfulness and sincerity and character that the voters are looking for.

RedState comments:

I didn?t have many (or any) good things to say about Christine O?Donnell ? but that ends now. The woman, whatever her faults, has to be given credit for having something that has been sorely lacking in the GOP?s Senate Caucus; Guts - with a big scarlet capital G. So finally, I do have something good to say about the lady - she took on an entrenched incumbent with a 10-to-1 monetary, a hostile media, not to mention a weak and comfortable on its knees DE GOP and walloped them all.

Which leads me to think that she just might have it in her to do it. Which means we owe her our support. Fighters are what we?ve been demanding for decades - we?ve just been given (another) one. So let?s get to work.

People are actually voting for people who share their views and opinions for once in their lives instead of bowing to the two party system and voting for thieves. I am ecstatic and people like you Bill8 should be very afraid. LOL

Are you suggesting that the Tea Party is a now a new 3rd party option - separate from the GOP?

Are people now able to register as Tea Party voters?

Do you believe the Tea Party does not have any corporate ownership?

Can you tell us how the Tea Party will lower taxes, create jobs, eliminate corruption, reduce the deficit, etc. etc. ?

I am sooooo interested in learning more! Do tell!

i am so totally outside your world models you have no way to understand me. you, however, serve my purposes perfectly. i couldn't invent a better troll than you.

I hope you post about that artist going into hiding soon. islamophobia is a perfect wedge issue for the tea party. i wish you all the luck in the world in your promotion of it.

Tea Party = Nutty right wingers, many of whom are very ignorant on many topics, but they are actually libertarians at heart which is great.

Republican Party = Authoritarian right wing party which is more interested in representing corporations like Oil companies, Haliburton and Blackwater/XE rather than the people. They will use warrantless wiretaps against the people, they will spy on us with the Patriot act. They remove regulations which help lead to financial crashes and deep water oil rigs blowing up. They cut taxes on corporations as the corporations move workforces overseas. They start wars to give money to private companies.

Democratic Party = also authoritarian did not repeal patriot act, also give money to corporations in bailouts, also continue wars (mostly), do crazy things like big health bills straight after a huge financial crisis. Has numerous other problems, but 'slightly' less evil than repugs.

At least the Tea party clowns are libertarians. It's a shame many of them are dumb asses who hate reading and vote republican. The major parties don't give a shit about our rights.
