looks like a dead site to me. What exactly was he doing? I have thousands of free hosted blogs and I send sales weekly to dozens of sponsors.

Banning affiliates because they use subdomains or freehosting is not going to protect you from anything.

The biggest free hosts pull millions of hits a day and are among the top 2k alexa ranked sites.

Mike, a lot of chatters from the Philippines thought a subdomain @ thumblogger would hide their chat sales... :thumbsup

i was checking my stats tonight and saw two refunds from the same customer and the same affiliate so i called ccbill to ask them about it. appearently their fraud department missed a shit load of sales that went through from this affiliate. i thought that service was included in the 14% fee....guess not

dgraves 09-14-2010 01:03 AM

too bad ccbill doesn't have an option that allowed sponsors to check into affiliates before approving them.
