What's the fucking story with Mastercard?
 

I've heard all sorts of shit about this supposed $1000 fee MC is charging now, but have about a 1/10 record of talking to people who have actually paid it.

So far as I know, a select few Paypal customers have paid it, and a few others on various processors have heard of it. I've been pissed off about this thing since I read it in Sexswap, so what's the story? Who's had to pay it? What are the processors doing about it?

It's true. You have to pay a $1000 fee everytime someone signs up for your site using Mastercard. I got 26 members who signed up using Mastercard today so I owe my processor $26,000.

It sucks, but maybe it will help get rid of the people in the industry who aren't serious.

how come you are paying $1k and i just pay $750 per member?
