Dear Affiliate, First off you are only getting this email because you have a payment due for this pay period by epassporte, so please READ! We have delayed this email for as long as we could hoping the epassporte situation would have resolved itself. Unfortunately epass was not yet able to come up with a solution. For this reason we are emailing you regarding your epassporte payment that we would like to send on September 19th 2010 for the pay period that ended on August 15th 2010. If you would like to still be paid by epassporte for this period then do nothing and we will pay you for this period by epassporte without any delays. If you would like to instead be paid by check for this period and future periods then just login and update your info to check if you have not already done so and also reply to this email and write "check" to make sure we pay you by this method. Even if you updated your info to check we recommend you reply to this email to avoid delays and insure a check is sent out for this pay period! For all those who wish to wait for a solution or do not want to get either epass or check for this period we will safely hold all funds for you. You will be paid out no matter what but at least if you wish to wait or do not want a check payment you know your money is safe with us. Please reply to this email and write "hold". If you do not reply to us by September 19th we will send out the payment by epass if you still have epass set in your payout options so please reply before this day to avoid any delays or mishaps! thank you Brutal Bucks |

Many other sponsors are freezing ePass payments and will only send after getting confirmation from the affiliate that they still want to be paid that way in light of ePassporte's recent problems. Problem with the way Brutal Bucks is doing it, based on the email you posted, is that email is easy to miss / some may be on holiday, etc and not respond in time... Brutal Bucks, and other sponsors doing similar, better prepare themselves for many upset affiliates, and possibly, even litigation, since it's well known at this point that ePassporte is not fully functional, and likely insolvent; "funds are in motion" :1orglaugh Bottom line, imho, while the Brutal Bucks email is nice, smart sponsors are NOT sending ePassporte unless they get a confirmation from the affiliate first.
