Anybody else have a really amazing sales day yesterday?
 

Yesterday was Twistys best sales day since March. A huge jump over the past few Saturdays. Without having changed anything, this week, I have to say it's a very welcome surprise :thumbsup

Anybody else experience the same thing?

Last 3 days were record days for PeabodyCash - record week, beating last week's record week.

Of course, I blame the tubes.

Yeah, we saw the same thing yesterday too! I actually spent about an hour this morning going over transactions double checking for any signs of fraud but I didn't find anything even remotely suspicious. Very strange since we've made no changes to warrant such a surge in sales. Hearing that another program also experienced this surge on the same day is really odd!

Yesterday was avg. The 10th however was pretty amazing. Already made my daily avg in sales today, could be a good one.

Was your traffic up?

I noticed traffic on our free sites was up huge for a Saturday. 10% over last week. People are starting to spend the weekends indoors again ;)

Didn't we both have record months last month? I have no idea why August was so good for me ... I did not do anything to warrant so many extra sales. I wish there was something I did because I'd be doing it this month, too.

EDIT: nm, I did do something different ... I guess what I did is just leveling out.

promoting paysites, same traffic but sales down, anyway this month is up and down for me, last months were stable sales daily, this month is jumping hard, i mean i cant complain over all :) but, maybe time to put some twistys promos up :)

Internet sales = strange buisness.

Yesterday was slightly below average for me, but no biggie... August was a record month and September is on track to match it or slightly beat it.

Ironically I had a decent sales day yesterday on the mainstream domain side - came out of nowhere as usually there's not much activity on Sat-Sun and we had just ended a large sale yesterday, only to see 3 of the domains in it sell after the prices were raised back up. That was nice. :)

This thread prompted me to complete my weekly volume/chargeback/risk analysis for my Adult clients a day earlier than normal and I must say that most of my clients are up across the board. Some very significantly. No sign of increased fraud and chargebacks/retrievals are nominal.

Interesting effect. I think I have to agree with Shap that there may be a seasonal bump as school starts and people settle back in from vacation.
