Chris, congrats on the movie... even if it the flick wasn't box office gold, so what? you got the fucking thing made, that in itself is a great accomplishment in tinsel town for sure... and best of luck with visa... cc companies are real ball busters. they make the rules and they will fuck you deep and hard in a heartbeat. -bmb :2 cents:

How cute.

DEA - banned for life 09-11-2010 01:38 PM

Paramount Pictures’ “Middle Men” was a flop last month despite positive buzz. But that was the least of the problems for producer Christopher Mallick, who based the film on his own ecommerce online porn business - which is now in trouble, a Wrap investigation shows.
Some ePassporte account members fear he has absconded with their money. Oddly, others see the development as a publicity stunt to promote “Middle Men” -- an unlikely scenario with the movie having vanished from theaters after an opening box office of $325,641 last month.

If that was true... and I really really doubt he could be that stupid, but if that was true that would be the text book example of throwing away good money chasing after bad. Way to go, destroy one business to try to get a few extra people in the seats... who is stupid enough to even think this could be a publicity stunt ???

Oh, and by the way Chachi... you should really take a minute and absorb what your good friend Dot has to say in your signature. Maybe next time you won't look like such a clown. :1orglaugh

I'm not an expert on Hollywood but I was always under the assumption the biggest hurdle in getting a film made was the financing. That becomes pretty easy if you fund the whole project yourself.

hopefully more before the 1st one gets fully funded..then the green light goes off easier for all your other projects in the pipeline at some state of development. Plus some cheaper lower budget projects can leap frog over the bigger budget project. Never keep all hope in 1 basket. Tell your buddy to get his option check or pull the project back and go to a different producer and keep pushing. Also tell him to develop yet another project for easy sell after the 1st one gets the "green light"
