car accident troubles =/

so i get into an accident on Monday, i have a 1991 Acura Legend Coupe, she had a 2002 Honda Civic 4door.

We were at a red light, i was behind her. Light turned green, I see her brake light get released and her car moved alil.. i look down for a second or so, while accelerating and BOOM, hit the bitches car.. yes its my fault, i hit her regardless.. anyway turns out she is really nice to me , this and that, get a cop there to do a report. she agrees to not go through insurance with me, and i'll pay for all damages.. her car looked like the bumper needed to be replaced, and trunk fixed, and color/paint matching and thats all.. my rough estimate (ive done body work before) is 3 - 4k on it.. i ask her to get me 2 estimates this and that.. Tuesday I didnt hear from her.

So today the bitch calls, got one estimate and supposedly i caused "$7000 worth of damage" to her car.. but would you believe all my car has is a dent the size of a half dollar, and a cracked license plate frame

anyway, she also says her neck was hurting her and quote "I borrowed money from my father, and went to my neighbors house who does massages.." :BangBang:

So what would you do? Tell the bitch to fuck off and go through insurance, pay a shitload with an increased rate. OR cater to this bitches every need and jusy pay up?

My insurance is high enough, I LIVE IN FUCKING NEW JERSEY, and im a young guy with a high rated car, the acura legend.. If i do go through insurance, im looking at 5 points and the best rate i got was $5400/year for 3 years. My prior rate was $2900/year. Anyway what would you guys do? I'm looking for some input, right now im leaning toward insurance cuz next this bitch will say she had to take a trip to the gynechologist because her pussy itched.

:BangBang:

how much does she want for her neck?

Beastiepoo 01-08-2003 09:05 PM

It does sound like she sweet talked you in the beginning to 'gain your trust' so to speak and is now trying to milk you for all she can get. Are you certain she even HAS insurance? Could be she's trying to avoid another issue. I feel your pain for high insurance premiums, but if she's gonna try to anal rape you over this you might be better off sucking it up and letting the professionals handle it.

:2 cents:

Good luck with it either way.

no clue, one benefit for going through insurance company is that if she sues me for any physical damage later on, the insurance company will pay up..

if i pay the damages for the car myself, and she turns around and sues me for physical damages, im f u c k e d!

i was thinking of offering her $5000 cash (because that estimate was wayy too high) and a nice letter waiving me of any damages. If she says no, she can just go through insurance for all i care.

Just pray she doesn't get with a lawyer. You'll get nailed for serious dollars. We got bumped on the Santa Monica Freeway years back with 5 of us in the car and we ended up collecting $15K to $35K each just for the neck pain and suffering. :Graucho :Graucho

i got in a car accident last night... atleast it wasnt my fault - gotta replace my hood, radiator, grill, front bumper, not sure if my frame is bent bad enough.... fuckin sucks, but go through insurance, cheaper than the 7k she wants...

The cop was cool, didn't write me any tickets. So i'm glad about that, we'll see what happens though. Anyway thanks for your posts guys I appreciate the feedback!

Pain and suffering? Yeah come look at my insurance rates.. Pain and suffering little pricks are causing it to skyrocket.

Do you have insurance?
If yes, then use it.

If you don't have insurance, get it.

$5000.00 anually for insurance on a 11 year old japanese import tells me there is more to this story.

I realize you are in a tight spot, and it dosen't help the car has a blue book retail value around $8000

The 2002 Honda, is another story, as you very well know.

2002... yep! Single piece bumper is $6000.00. She's right, knock her down on the install or break out the socket set and do it yourself.

That's a hell-of-a-sig wendy.
