There really is no "adult industry." There are few important associations, standards, morals, and accepted business practices. It is just a bunch of guys out for themselves. It's no surprise that the bad apples have spoiled the batch.

While tubes may be a problem they are not the main problem. Yes, they are messing shit up, but take them away and the industry would still be messed up the way it is. One of the main problems is that too many companies are doing the same old boring shit when it comes to porn. Not much that's new and actually stands out comes out these days. Sure, maybe a small few make new stuff, but it's not enough. So people go to tube sites to watch it all for free.

Then we have xsales and all the other crap that's fucking over our customers. Why is it that we treat our customers like they're idiots? It's time to think long term and not about the $ you can steal from him/her right off the bat. They are the reason we make money so lets treat them the way WE would want to be treated. Give them a quality product at an affordable price. Stop fucking them with all these xsales, upsales etc..

My point is that there are many reasons that the industry is the way it is now and tubes are at the bottom of that list. If this post made no sense I apologize since I just woke up and my brain is still asleep. haha

There is no way to kill free media and therefore no way to kill the tubes. Stop trying to destroy the affiliate model and you won't see the tubes as such a big deal.

The surfer is going to profit from media no matter what sponsors do. If you shut them out of programs they will steal more and push cams/dating/ppc more.

Concentrate on building a good program and you'll profit more.

Ya know if there was a solid "Adult Industry". Then something like the epass situation would be handled way differently by the powers that be in "The Industry".

Look at the havoc epass caused for so many. In a more organized "Industry" This situation would be rectified already or never allowed to happen so as to not have such a negative impact on the "Industry".
