What converts better, picture or movie galleries?
 

I'm really trying to make my new blogs convert as best as they can and right now I'm only adding picture galleries but I'm wondering if it would be better to just use movie galleries? Which converts better in your opinion and why?

Generally speaking, movie galleries.
But a slick looking pic gallery template with awesome shots is just as effective.

Of course this still depends on the kind of traffic coming in, niche, etc.. Plenty of variables.

If you're building them yourself, try a combo gallery. ie... a set of 12 pics and an embedded 20 or 30 second clip to compliment it.

I'm just linking to free hosted galleries on my blog so I'm not building them myself. I guess I'll start using movie galleries more and see what happens. Thanks for the help!
