Pot from the good ol' days
 

My pops just gave me a baggie.. Two joints in there that are all but stuck together.. There are Tricomb crystals coating the inside of the bag, and both about as big as my middle finger.

The bag has a sticker on it that says "Oct. 1974"

Should I keep them or Smoke them? I'm thinking about smoking one and saving the other for my son. ;-)

smoke it on a special occasion, then wrap up 2 joints and give it to your son in like 20 yrs.

thats a damn fine tradition.

He told me that they are the two joints left over from a harvest he and my uncle had.

Personaly I think pot today is much better, but this shit is aged lol..

I think ill keep them for history..

THC levels drop drastically over time.. Ill be surprised if it buzzes you .. but I would smoke it for sure .

Why would THC levels drop? When properly cured you stop the ageing process..

I believe that machineg is correct on this. Oxygen will degrade THC.

Are there any seeds in it?

I know some guys that are contacting all the old hippies looking for seeds. The gremination rates are very poor but they are trying to reintroduce some old genetics into todays weed.

If there are any seeds in there pass them on to a grower.

smoke both of the joints this morning. Then get two more for tonight... Hell, smoke two joints in the afternoon too!!! It will make you feel alright!

its probally not moldy .. too dry , but THC is lower for sure.

That's a fine tradition, but don't smoke them unless they've been in the freezer for 30 years. Like Ganjasaurus said they could have mold.
