Just Bought A Domain I Think Might Be Blacklisted
 

I just bought a domain via godaddy that I think may have been blocked by google in the past. The domain has been dropped since 2008. How do I check to see if it was blacklisted?

put a page on it and wait, if it comes back great, if not, you are likely SOL...

i remember back in the day google banned one of my domains for some old hidden text i had. i emailed them and explained and they unblocked it. doubt that would work these days though.

yeah try and get it indexed. if not send a message to google through webmaster tools.

Put one page, give it a couple decent backlinks and wait. If google indexes it, fine. Otherwise file reinclusion request.
