If Mr. Mallick, Visa, or the bank in St. Kitts posted here there would be 20 pages of "BULLSHIT!!!!" posts within twenty minutes and the board would crash.
No one is going to take responsibility. If things don't work out, the buck will be passed and no real answer will be delivered until it works through whatever legal system applies in this case.
By then, everyone will have forgotten. I have no idea why SyPro, GloBill, Adult Check, Lancelot. etc. got to walk away with my money. Why is this any different?

Agreed....however ePassporte is not ETrade and for better or worse webmaster boards play a big role in our industry. While I do not pretend to know all the different industries that ePassporte is involved with I would wager that the adult industry makes up the largest piece of their pie.
ETrade does not face complete collapse because of a glitch, this situation could spiral out of control and put ePassporte in an impossible situation to climb out of. I certainly hope this isn't the case... I like epass and have used them for years....but having the owner of that company come in and make an official statement with as much of an explanation as possible would go a long way to increasing the confidence of the industry they rely on.
Yeah, people will troll the thread and say all sorts of irresponsible things, but the more reasonable will sit back, consider what he says and with a lot more confidence take the 'wait and see' approach. I do not think that there is anything for them to hide but his silence does effect the overall mood.
my deepest sympathies to MO, that poor guy has a HUGE job here and a little back up from the big guy could really help

I don't know I'm just throwing it out there, I don't know the man personally. But that's likely how I'd feel if I were in his shoes right now. I hope you all get your money that you have tied up with epass, but it really doesn't look good. If they had access to your money with no issues, then they could simply cut everyone a check or wire for the full amount. Then deal with their issues, whatever they may be. But since this is not happening it leads any reasonable person to believe that the money is either stolen, or frozen and WAY beyond epassportes control. Also has anyone even thought about "If" this has anything to do with the DOJ, IRS or whatever govt agency, and also has to do with illegal money laundering, or tax evasion, then they have all your info and can easily start all those investigations?? this could be just the tip of the iceberg for many.
OK that is all just a theory as many have posted their own theories as well, this is just another.
