I lost a few and gained a few. Most stayed the same. Maybe it's in the process of updating the pagerank.

True enough but Ray still has a point. PR affects crawling. And given the RECENT ALGO CHANGES at google's SERPs, it pays to factor this in specially when working out a content strategy.

@ the thread... I used http://www.prchecker.info/check_page_rank.php until realising, the bot checker was a pain in the arse! I now use www.mygooglepagerank.com No need for bot checking.

Any other suggestions?

I use the seo book plugin. Just do a search for the url and it will shop up in the search results.

I used to use bulk PR checkers but they usually conk out after an update or two.

check it with firefox / google toolbar.

try this tool and check results http://livepr.ezer.com/

although it seems to be updating when it shows 0's and N/A in the bottom (slowest loading) table on the results page. Read the red text above that bottom table.

Linkspun will send you an alert when the PR value changes on a page.

I just turned up the frequency of pr checks right now to catch any changes that may or may not happen.

noticed a couple. yeah something going on.

May want to beef-up your alert server. I think it's going to be busy alerting all of the sites in your system that google rewards or punishes over the next 48 hours or so. Something is definately changing.

I may have jumped the gun on this a bit. I have over 400 domains and it looked like several lost 1 pagerank and a few gained 1 pagerank.

If they are not rolling out a new pagrank right now, then I think they are updating the datacenters and getting ready for an update soon, because, I DID see pagrank changes in a few of my oldest domains.

Most predict an update by the end of this month, so Google may be preparing their DC's for it right now.

There was no update, it's a hoax, or maybe there was some partial thing.

I don't give a shit about PR and I don't have Google's toolbar installed anymore. In spite of this, my rankings have not dropped. I don't know if my sites are PR 0 or PR 4.

I don't care. Pagerank has no relevancy to my success. Either does Alexa.

The last confirmed google update was April 2

No change. PR does mean something. It helps determine a price on buying/selling hardlinks.

Looks like I may have been wrong,. Another webmaster hit me up and said his ranks dropped last night and I could have swore I lost rank on 4 old sites and gained rank on 3 more.

sorry for the confusion.. However, do not be surprised if they just started to roll it out.

I asked you to remove me from your icq list because you spammed me with your seo service (just like you did in this thread) and then, after we spoke last night, sent me another message this morning saying my thread was "bullshit". Why would I want to keep you on my business icq list with that attitude?

Luckily i don't need to do link exchanges to do my seo.But i still remember idiot who claimed how my site has "no text"despite the fact site have 15k daily traffic and his site no more then 200 and as result didn't want to do exchange.
