I made this thread yesterday and thought people might call me crazy but it seems like there are still lots of people taking epass funds for content, domains and design work...there are at least 3 or 4 threads on gfy with people saying they will take epass still. Who here is actually willing to take epass for what ever your offering??

i admire your trust, but unless i am seeing successful wire transfers out of Epass I will not accept it. -
I still take epass for ad spots on linkspun, no problem. I'm in Canada and cannot even withdraw to anything but I'm pretty confident the money is there.
Worse case scenario is I cannot access the money ever, (doubtful) and I still run the ads, and make a solid contact out of the deal. Hard to see a reason not to except the initial funds today.

yeah tues will be very interesting as a lot of people requested wires and some of them should be hitting after the monday holiday...if the wires dont go through then i am not sure many people will still be accepting epass but while there are people taking it is a good oppurtunity for someComment

I thought of taking it, but I've decided not to until they resolve the situation (if that happens at all). The whole timing and circumstances surrounding what happened are too suspicious.
Until we hear confirmations of wires/direct deposits coming in or at the very least a plan of action from them as to what is happening, what will happen and a timeframe, then epass money is worth as much as any 'virtual currency' aka nothing in my eyes.Mechanical Bunny Media

It's not down to Epass whether it comes back as it was, it's down to Visa. We no longer accept it and I have to decide soon whether to change the account to a wallet or drop it all together. $50 for a check makes small amounts un profitable unless the money is left to accumulate and not doing that with them.Comment

The best thing would be to issue credit instead. That way, if the epass problem doesn't get fixed, then as long as the buyer is honest, the service provider still gets paid by another method. Even if it takes longer to get the money, its better than never getting it...in the event epass doesn't work out.Comment
