All adult traffic 92% bounce LOL

Was just doing some research and found bounce rates chart for lots of major adult traffic brokers on an seo site... ouch lowest average bounce rate was 88% highest was 99% and the average was about 92%

Please tell me that chart is WRONG, show me some numbers.

Its on another board and I really dont want to cut and paste it here and call people out, I just would like some of them to step forward and show me some numbers. I dont believe that the bounce rates are that high, of course I havent purchased traffic in a long time.

How many times does it have to be said?

I believe those are one page views where they are moving the hit...ask Choker but I think it is supposed to be that way.

Right because your site is one page and they are supposed to bounce off like a traffic trader

A million factors are in play here. Mostly the page it was sent to. A gallery page is gonna get 90% bounce rate unless its a tube style movie page with links at top saying cateogires home newe videos etc that they can click on

AdPatron 09-04-2010 05:50 PM

I wonder if it's possible to go 100%+

It depends on how the "bounce" is calculated. If they load a page and click a banner or link out, then the higher the better. Better than staying a long ass time and leeching, right?

Agreed, most buyers, even the so called google analytics experts don't really understand bounce rate like they think they do. I had a guy buy traffic to a page he made on HIS DOMAIN that had nothing but dating iframe banners on it. Nothing else. All the links went to dating sites which is fine with me. But then he complained about bounce rate. LOL

bounce rate is the most useless web stat available in my mind.

Unless you run a site like facebook or a community where you want people to be staying and doing stuff.

Low bounce is probably only good for the following type of sites:

social networks
educational sites
article sites
news sites
etc...

If you want people to be reading stuff/learning getting involved it's good.

If you have ads plastered over your site to sell a product/service then you may want a higher bounce rate because that probably 90% of the time means they are clicking through to what you're selling.

Membership sites will probably like to enjoy a lower bounce rate also, because the longer people stay there, paying for what is on offer, the less chance that site has of their surfers/visitors fucking off elsewhere.

Right because any moron can post pictures of nude women. Intelligent people are concerned with more important things.

"A wild orgy of frenzied taunting, screaming and hitting ensued. I fought like a wild man. All the while it was obvious that they were having great fun. It seemed to be almost, a game for them, with me as the centerpiece of their amusement. My pain became their pleasure. They seemed to want to make me hurt by clawing at me and biting me. Whenever I would get one off me, there were five more to replace the one."

Voila, ... What choker said

cambaby 09-05-2010 02:56 AM

As I understand it a bounce doesnt mean they clicked something, it can also mean they closed the window.

Also I understand that a high bounce rate is just fine for feeding trades but Google uses it as a major factor in site quality score.

Can you imagine the cost of traffic that was not so bad?

Assuming you could even get it.

Traffic that sticks and/or converts is going to cost a lot, or the people with it won't even sell it. They will use it themselves.

Some people need to take a logic pill here.

lol take your own logic pill because it is ENTIRELY possible to make a large profit off from bought traffic. I make (paysite) sales on traffic that is cheaper than $3/k.
