Donate for Michael O. : I will start..

I have been talking to 100s of people since yesterday morning. From small webmasters to huge company owners. Most of them freaked out of their minds, but somehow a lot of the "bigger" guys seem to be able to keep cool.

Maybe, this issue can be solved and we all get our money back.

Me? My feeling says things won't be solved. Because we have seen the same "shit" happen before. My mind says i have to believe michael. Why on earth would he still be here talking if they could just as well sit on the beach with our money.

I think, there is a different reason, something we just dont know about, and although i have told some guys what i think is going on, i wont be writing it in public because i hate rumours and heresay. If its not facts, why waste time on it.

Anyway, back to the point:

If epassporte fixes their problems, and we all get 100% of our money back within the next 2-3 weeks. Shouldnt we be donating to michael o. ?

I mean, this guy has the shittiest job in the world right now, and he still doesnt leave and tells everyone to gfy. His girl in hospital, 1000s of people attacking him, and all he can do is work his ass off trying to cleanup whatever mess his big chiefs made of it. For me, Michael IS epass. Without him, im pretty sure nobody would care a fuck about us here on gfy.

I will start.

I will donate: $500 to Michael O. (hope you dont mind it being on epass M.) as soon as i can touch my money. If needed Michael can verify on gfy, in public, that i did.

i'm afraid when it comes to VISA and the Banks and all that shit - Michael is not a problem solver....

Jack Sparrow 09-04-2010 07:23 AM

Michael is a problem solver. Has been and still is.
Im not saying he has the powers to make the decisions, but without him we would have been in the woods hanging ourselfs in rows of 100.

Tjeezers 09-04-2010 07:38 AM

I rather go for bank wires
I so no need to donate money to a rep of epass just cause I would be happy to see the cash back at the end.

I take the loses and learn from this. I dont need a repeat or donate to Micheal who`s doing a great job, but he gets paid for it.

I love you, Michael O...

Ross 09-04-2010 08:50 AM

I will gladly send Michael $100 if I get my $5500 back. Even if epass goes down, there won't be a company out there who wouldn't hire the guy. He will be ok regardless of the outcome.

Tjeezers 09-04-2010 08:57 AM

how about people start paying taxxes and serve the real community a little
or even better; give your THANK YOU to webmastertoyrun and do something useful for people who REALLY need it

In case of a good resolution, Epass should give him a few hundred k-s. funny, but i was thinking the same about making a pool of money to Michael.. if there will be something like this i would happily transfer $500 to it.

Vendot 09-04-2010 12:55 PM

you know what? The funny thing is all you people would give you right arm for someone like Michael O on your team.....

chronig 09-04-2010 01:01 PM

1 representative of the adult industry does a decent... fairly decent.. (far from amazing) job of helping you put up with shit frustrating customer service / support department of epassporte and you all praise him like he's some sort of God because he can do a decent job at what he was hired to do.

Fucking clowns...

TeenCat 09-04-2010 01:31 PM

michael is the best and greatest support i saw in adult business ... epass knows that, no donation is needed imho. big respect and go michaels olsen go! :thumbsup

dyna mo 09-04-2010 01:38 PM

michael's doing a job he is paid to do. if his boss thinks he deserves more then his boss is the one to increase his financial compensation.

give your money to people who actually NEED charity.

I wouldn't say it's all about taxes. For many non US/Ca webmasters epass used to be the most convenient or, in some cases, the only possible option to get money because:

1. In many 3rd world countries banks either don't cash the checks affiliate programs issue or charge ridiculous fees for caching.
2. Mail problems. Webmasters from certain countries have to go for the check by Fedex option to make sure that they actually receive the check. And the option is pricey in comparison with the rest offered.
3. High wire minimums and costs. I doubt any company will be able to maintain wire payments with minimums as low as ePassporte payments. Webmaster traffic in most cases is spread across numerous programs so one would have to wait quite a few months to meet the minimum on at least one of the programs and get paid.

Another thing - services like design, programming, buying links or domains from someone.
ePass was is one of the most convenient payment options for such stuff. You can name PayPal as an alternative, but once again I know quite a few webmasters from countries not supported by PayPal.

To cut it short, if ePassporte goes away now there will be a huge gap in this industry and it will take people quite some time to figure out a replacement.

Well but the thread is about Michael O and I have to say only good things about him as both ePassporte user and as someone doing job similar to his. In this situation regardless of the outcome he deserves much respect within our community.

As far as I know Payoneer is essentially the same thing as epassporte...

Not the same, as far as I know you can open an account yourself only if you're a US citizen. For other locations all accounts are supposed to be created by the companies which are Payoneer's clients already. So far off hand I can name only a few programs already using Payoneer as a payment option. So now imagine how much time it will take other companies to set it up and webmasters to get the cards and start using Payoneer on a regular basis.

Plus their ridiculous ATM transaction fees for withdrawals outside of the US leave you with 2 choices - wiring the money to your bank account (not an option for smaller webmasters because of the $30 fee so they have to accumulate a decent sum of money on the account before requesting the wire) or paying with your CC instead of cash. But Europeans aren't used to using CC everywhere like Americans, cash is still preferred for small purchases.

While ePass is good for all 3 options - ATM withdrawals, wires and swipe use.
