Just 60$ here, but i heard some with 200k :(

Personally, I lost $130.00. My girlfriend lost $979. One friend lost 6k. Another 28k. My cousin lost a little over 4k. So just for a couple people I talk to thats already $39k. I can only imagine how much they are skating off with.

ePass doesn't have any of our money. The bank does. You have no accounts with ePass other than an account that shows you what you're balance is at the bank or on your debit card and that allows you to perform transactions between the bank and the debit card etc.

Like $12 bucks. Thankfully I just did a big withdraw a few days prior.

And who has access to that bank account ... presumably ePassporte, since it's theirs!

Furthermore, even if the bank account is insured in some manner, which it very well could be, that likely won't matter, because ePassporte user accounts are NOT individual bank accounts.

Bottom line is, if ePassporte chooses to take the money and run, those with funds in there are SOL!

As far as how money is owed, it's probably, at minimum, a few hundred million to a billion.

Don't know about the wallet, but the Visa "cards" are owned, issued and purchased from the bank. The TOS states that the cards are the property of the bank, not ePass.

And the back of many other ATM cards state the exact same thing.

Just because the card itself is property to the bank does NOT mean the money in the associated bank account is.

The bank account holder, in this case, is presumably ePassporte - assuming that is the case, and they choose to withdraw and run, the bank will be of little to no help to ePassporte users - they'd basically be SOL!
