Pornkings Question
 

I signed up for pornkings porn4buck program, put a banner on
my site.....click the banner....check stats....I can see everything
works....hits are being counted.

I sign up using paypal, get access to the site and a payment
receipt from paypal. I access the site and look around simply
because I always want to know where I send my users and
to see what they can expect.

I check my stats.....guess what no sale. I wait 24 hours.....still
no sale. I´m not implying anything here but I do wonder if anyone
knows if there is some extra delay for paypal sales to show up.

Of course I mailed the pornkings crew about it....but I haven´t
had a reply yet....I guess they´re all busy in Vegas.

Oh and before I get slagged for cheating. I also mailed them
that they should credit the sale once it shows up in the stats
as it was me who bought a membership and not a user.

He may manually log your members into the stats?

hell I know it sounds wierd but Ive heard of stranger, especially dealing with Paypal...


If you know hes in Vegas and not here then why dont you wait untill he comes back and call him, instead of trying or airing out dirty laundry here.

I don´t suspect them for shaving...I guess just a glitch or
something.....but I do wonder.....I haven´t cancelled the trial
yet.....so that could not be the reason.

sounds too sketchy to me. have you gotten any sales yet? i got a hun listing with a pornkings gallery and only had 1 sale. i switched sponsors.

Yes, a lot of the pornkings people are indeed in Vegas, but I know that Carol is still in the office.....I've forwarded this thread to her via email. Hopefully you'll get an answer shortly, if she's not too swamped over there.

I´m just asking if anyone knows what could be the reason.
Where is the dirty laundry that I air? I ask a question and specifically mention that I don´t think they are cheating?

I´m sure there are a lot of webmasters that use pornkings here
who might know the reason and can fill me in.

Im assuming and yes it may be ASSuming that Fletch took it the same way as he used the frequent board characteristic " uh oh" as a sing of "someone fucked up and is cheating"

Its probably an error. Im not implying pornking shaves BUT a lot of webmaster programs cut corners this way, ie they dont track web900 or pay paypal joins probably becuase there are not a lot of signups generated from these billing options.

A lot of the shady programs pocket that cash and the webmaster has no clue about it.

you just need to wait until it rebills ya for 5 other sites

Just a thought but.......

Some sites automatically discredit commissions from sales generated from the same email, address, or some other info as the webmaster pushing it.

Some of the more intelligent sponsors do this so you can check out what you are selling without being flagged, banned, robbed of commissions earned, etc. I don't know about Pornking but that may be the case.

Only time will tell. Let us know when you do.

I emailed Roger about paypal joins about a month or two ago? Something like that, maybe closer to a month. He said they aren't currently counted towards webmasters, so you won't see that sale :) Basically he said he wasn't sure how they would convert/retain/etc, and they account for a low amount of sales. Very fast response, but this wasn't during the Vegas convention.

It looks as if ZoiNk has the answer.

When dealing with paypal another possibility is if the funds were already in your paypal account it is sent right away. If the funds are drawn from your checking account it can take up to three days for the funds to be sent.

I´ll wait till I get an email from them but if I don´t get paid over
paypal signups then I´ll pull the banner.

I mean it´s a $1 trial and they have a HUGE paypal button
payment option....I think everyone who has a paypal account
will pay through paypal as it´s only a dollar.

My .02 = PornKings pays on-time and we have never heard any complaints
from their webmasters to us. As their network provider (we host them), we
would normally hear from disgruntled webmasters if things were bad. When we
host a shady company, we always get mass inquiries about them from inquiring minds.

Pornkings has had no complaints in regards to that stuff.

That´s why I wait for their reply before making up my mind.
Like I said before I asked a question, I didn´t complain...I just
wondered what happened and what could be the reason.

Now if paypal payments are not given commision than I think
they should make that clear to webmasters. I didn´t find that
anywhere on their site. If I knew this up front I would not have
started promoting them..

But I´ll wait for their reply first to get that confirmed by them...
I´m still sure there is a good explanation and know Roger runs
a good show.....which is why I signed up in the first place
