Epassporte - quick question. where is the cash now?

does visa hold the cash?

If its not with Epassporte I presume somone has it?

Was thinking the same thing. If visa is holding it, shouldnt we blame them? And shouldnt THEY be paying us out right now?

This situation is far from clean.

yes

or at least pay interest on money when (if) they pay out.

and if visa are holding the cash, is there not any laws to protect people?

sounds good question to me, so visa now stole our money? and if it is not visa, whe we cannot move them to wallet? maybe newbies but good questions, lets learn something new! :)

The money is in someone's personal offshore account right now.

Lets take a look at the trail of events leading up to this.
- Porn industry takes a dive, sponsors disappear, less money loaded on epass. They can no longer be used for gambling too, so their income must have taken a hit on this. Every day a new program closes up shop, and that is one less that will load up money every month to pay affiliates. Over the past few months, I have noticed a very strong migration to clients using paypal and wires and away from epass.
- 1 or 2 days before this happens, many people's limits are lowered to $1k withdrawl
- Their visa accounts are "abruptly suspended" with no warning and with no explaination given. Conveniantly at the start of the month just before a long weekend, when the most money is on the epass system as programs are loading up their accounts to pay affiliates. As it is a long weekend, no one can get in touch with visa or anyone to confirm anything.

Yeah...I can definately see this all ending well. :2 cents:

Visa processes the transaction to remove the money from the account.

Laws about protecting money deposited in an offshore company with offshore bank accounts who is used by a lot of people/companies to avoid taxes?

Not everybody uses epass or neteller or similar companies to avoid taxes, but a lot do, to get the money there and withdraw it with an anonymous credit card without declaring it. That is why those companies are setup where they are and the way they are.

So yeah, good luck claiming in your country for the money you have deposited in an offshore company.

Hope epass will solve this, because else all users are just screwed and their money will be lost without solution.

I think it it were only a problem with a visa then all transfers between visa virtual and a wallet would be available. I think they have no access to money for some reason. Or they don't want to give us these money. Nobody knows.

visa can't lock epass bank account

only transactions

trannysphere 09-03-2010 04:58 AM
