RIU PALACE PARADISE ISLAND

The Cove at Atlantis

We went the opposite direction, and stayed away from the resort type of thing. I rented a beachfront house on South Andros for the boys and I. We had a blast and totally had the beach to ourselves the entire 7 days.

Stayed at this all-inclusive during a business trip that unexpectedly turned into a numerous night stay a while back. Room was ok, food and drinks were good, huge pool area. Very reasonable. http://www.paradiseislandbahama.com

thanks guys...selena...will look into that as well, i like the idea of the beach to ourselves...however i also like the idea of non stop drinks being brought to me on small trays..lol

paradise island seems tot be the hot spot

Stay at ryu, it's right beside Atlantis. I have stayed there before it's fine. Plus the price is right!!!

The cove is amazing but expensive. If your daughter was older Cove/Atlantis is a no brainer. Their new waterpark is SICK.

btw a friend of mine just booked a weekend at atlantis plus flight and it was 600 for 3 people i think. Good deals to be had if you research for the atlantis.

the big advantage of riu is the drinks and food. At Atlantis you can expect to spend $200+ a day for the family in food and there are no grocery stores near by (have to take a cab for 10 min to get to the closest one, but then you'd be hard pressed to find a cab back lOL).

Let me know when you are going. You have to golf there. You have to play the course I shot 79 on ;)

last year stayed at Cove Atlantis and had a great time with wife and 1 year old.
We had a great deal for the 3 of us.

Yup My sister is there right now with her family. I think she got the room for $140/night from Travel Zoo

Only stayed 1 time because we missed a connecting flight and there was not another until the next day.. Had to stay at the HORROR Day inn.

Atlantis all the way - but then again you don't want to spend a fortune so I don't think that's possible at Atlantis, at least it wasn't for us!
