So I'm going to Disney tomorrow

Sort of a tradition to do the character breakfast for my kids birthdays. Even though she's 18 she still wants to go. I'm getting too fucking old for Winnie the Fucking Pooh lol. Afterwards going to Typhoon Lagoon so at least I'll get to see some hot chicks in bikinis.

Winnie the Pooh is the one who likes to share wealth among the animals.
The form of wealth is honey.

Come on, don't dump on Disney. It's great. I've done the character breakfast though and hated it. Too noisy and food was bah. Then again, what did I expect anyway?

Whenever I go to Orlando, I make sure to never miss the following:

Universal Islands of Adventure:
- Duelling Dragons (dual sick coasters)
- Spiderman
- Ripsaw Falls
- Jurassic Park (Weakest of the rides, but still fun)
- Dr. Doom's Fearfall (the build-up is insane)
- HULK (fucking insane coaster holy shit wow)
(I haven't seen the new Harry Potter attraction yet)

Universal Studios:
- Back to the Future (now remade into the Simpsons Ride, sigh)
- Terminator 2 3D (old now but still impressive)
- Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit (New roller coaster - good!)
- Revenge of the Mummy (Another coaster - also great)

I skip all the shows and boring rides. If I have the chance to hit Disney I'll usually skip Disney World and go to Epcot. It's a little slow but some attracts such as SPACE make it worth while.

The best bar ever, Mannequins, a part of Downtown Disney, closed 2 years ago along with 5 other bars in the area. The plan was to turn them all into new shops. When I went there a few months ago it was a sad and depressing place. They closed the best places, and never followed through on their plans. It used to cost $20 to get in and it was jam-packed every night. They lost a cash cow when they fucked up that club complex.

Nah man I love Disney, just the character breakfast I could do without. I like all the parks, but the water parks Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach are the bomb. Ten times better than the beach. Typhoon Lagoon is my favorite, all the foliage is so relaxing.

Universal Islands of Adventure has now The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, it looks amazing but it was so crowded last time that we didn't see anything at all, waiting times of over 2 hours

TeenCat 08-31-2010 02:32 AM

That sounds like a great ride to get into the pants of a girl in her 30's...

That waiting time is nuts. Is it really worth waiting 2 hours?
