Shane?s World and Hush Entertainment Separate Companies
Shane's World, the studio that?s famous for invading college campuses and fun gonzo titles has separated from Hush Hush Entertainment. The two companies have parted ways as of June 15th and Shane?s World has decided to go in a different direction. Part of this new direction is bringing back Megan Stokes as part owner and company president.
?I think if you have ever met me you are aware of how big a place in my heart I have for the Shane?s World brand!? exclaimed Stokes. ?When this opportunity presented itself to me it was a no-brainer. We had some great long talks about the direction of the company and knew we would do best going back to our roots of being a boutique fan-centric brand. We quickly decided to have Camera Guy and original team rejoin the company and they will soon be producing new Shane's World and College Invasion movies. We also have some fantastic ideas for some new series that only the Shane?s World team could produce.?
?Since the end of the partnership we have been flattered with tons of strategic offers from some fantastic companies. It?s all about choosing the right company to partner with in order to foster a proper team environment. I am very excited to soon be able to announce those partners. We are fortunate to still have such a strong fan base that is still demanding new product. Even the outpouring of support we have seen from the industry has been tremendous. I quickly realized I am just one of many that hold a special place in my heart for the brand!? said Stokes.
"I am extremely excited to return to Shane's World." said Camera Guy. "It's been two years since I've been away and even though the business has changed, we're ready to evolve with it. Don't call it a comeback, we've been here for years!"
Shane?s World might be most known for the College Invasion series but its original line, the Shane?s World Series is a pioneer in the reality niche and a constant hit in the couples market. The company also has a successful toy line through Cal-Exotics that caters to a ?new to toys? customer base by using less threatening, colorful, youthful designs. Shane?s World has been in business for over 14 years and has received several awards and accolades including mainstream coverage in such places as Rolling Stone magazine and is the only adult company featured in the Abercrombie and Fitch catalog.
