Are conversions 10* worster, than in the 2009?

my main sponsor had in 2009 conversions 1:1000, in 2005 - 2008 1:700.

Now in the 2010 it's 1:7000, 10* WORSTER than what is normal for me.

It's this some trend or what?

Sure conversions going down, this is normal trend, but NOT this radical way!!!

What is your average conversions in this year 2010 in comparison with year 2009, it's 1/10 of the 2009 nightmare or not?

Rebills still holding me up the water, but this killing my gallery biz. I will must move to TGP and paysite biz ASAP or hosting fees will kill me...

Blog traffic is a bit better.

A paysite won't give you better convertions, unless it's very niched and you get very targeted traffic. But you can get more traffic through an affiliate program.

You still submit galleries?

How about free sites? AVS sites?

I've seen a 30% decline in ratios overall in 2010 compared to 2009 accoring to my statsremote. I am sending more traffic though.

Yes affiliaters via CCBill may push number of the my SUs.

And if I will do it only myself, I think, that anything will be better, than my current conversion 1 : 7k - 10k

I don't like AVS concept and my todays traffic is not only from the galleries, I'm building a free sites too and using other sources as is SE..., so this is not completely some shitty traffic... It's normal gallery and LL traffic in 5 niches (gay, amateur, MILF, hardcore, celeb and bondage)...

Are you still able to generate any big traffic from gallery submissions? The sites lost 60-70% of their traffic and they continue loosing more and more visitors every month.

I told everyone about this a year ago but no one seemed to care.
I was telling everyone that the tube shit combined with torrents and the money crisis that we would really really suffer from this.
Lots and lots of "adapt or die" bullshit was flying around.

I'd say about 10x "worster" .... I used to be a lazy fuck in 2007-2008 and worked on my tube site maybe 4-5 hours/day initially and then 1-2 hours/week after initial startup was done... then in early 2010 I started another tube site and put in 10x work (multiple full time employees) only to see about the same sales as in 2007-08 with just 1-2hours/week :disgust

I'm not dismissing this completely, but l see lots of people fishing in the same (traffic) pond promoting the same sponsors trying to catch the same fish (customer).

I still think, that is place here for paysite, I don't need 100 SU per day, I need one to cover my bills and give me some ?s to live good, and this is still possible...

My problem is that I don't have that much traffic to push so when a program starts to lag in sales/ratio after my initial campaign I have to start looking for other options.

There's no catch-all answer for this. Depends on the sponsor. Is the content updated, are they making new stuff? How are you presenting it to surfers.

Jardo, don't start your own paysite if you have hard times to convert as affiliate. You will lose money! My 2 cents.

Try discovering other traffic sources, etc.

I'm running my own server and bought the content (tens GBs of movies and pictures, I may fill new content for whole year...) and domain, so I will have zero expenses to start...

And I diversified to the other sources of the income too, I'm selling the hardlinks, I'm rock/metal concert photograper, stock investor and now entering a forex speculations too, so if my paysite will die, nothing will happen, but what the hell :), why not try it at least. I'm interesting how paysite working :) and I wanna make MONEY, so I wanna start one at the CCBill :) LOL. I'm pretty sure, that I will develope some new bastard, which make me decent money as all other parts and other sources of my very wide biz.

BTW i have some traffic source, to feed this my new small biz in the beginning, this is no problem. I already have server, content, I will create join, front and inner pages myself. So maybe I must locate only some anticheat program and teach something how to integrate .htaccess integration with CCBill (it will be probably easy). Right now I'm watermarking my content with logo :). Jesus what bad conversions not forcing man to do...

My dear Czech friend: I would highly suggest promoting PeabodyCash websites like Fellucia Blow and ErosExotica and MILF Mia and Sexxy Brandon.
You will then live a hapy life.

Conversions are definitely down across the board, but definitely some sponsors are better than others. No reason not to add a pay site to your portfolio. Maybe try some new sponsors. I know I have some sites I can still convert, including SpookyCash ones of course.

But there are definitely some where I used to make a join for every few hundred uniques and now I can't convert. I think some sites stopped updating, so new members are not going to sign up. Harder to make new content in the current economy because talent wants to get paid more, at the same time programs have less.

People keep talking about shaving, but aren't most programs these days NATS or CCBill or Epoch or maybe Verotel or Zombaio? If so, how are they shaving? I just don't think shaving is really happening in 2010. Slow pay and no pay is definitely happening, but I don't think shaving really is.
