Grupo Mexicana suspended operations at its three airlines Saturday "until further notice," citing the financial problems inherited when the group changed owners a week ago.

The company's three airlines -- Mexicana Airlines, MexicanaClick and MexicanaLink -- stopped all flights at midday Saturday, according to a statement from the group

Well that sucks, Mexicana was the best.

So are we forced to use American Airlines to fly to Mexico Now?

They said it was due to the swine flu outbreak they had, which killed tourism for a while so less fares, and also that the pilots and crews refused to take any kind of a pay cut, so they're filing for bk protection. They'll be back, this is only temporary.

That was my Flight to Cabo. That sucks, CS was always nice.

People who like to kick it in private villas overlooking the beach, next to the pool, sipping margaritas, while other people wonder 'what's so great about Mexico anyway'.
