PlugRush: Sell Traffic or Trade Traffic?

My main site has a bounce rate that hovers between 30 and 35% but the traffic i get from plugrush hovers between 90 and 95% bounce

Just wondering what your experience is with them?

I think their system is part of the problem. It takes so long for the re-direct to happen. You click the link and it takes forever to get the site, but I'm sure the click still gets counted but the surfer gives up before they ever see your page.

Alllllllrighty then..

Jakez 08-28-2010 06:51 PM

Yeah.. not very impressed with PlugRush personally. Tried JuicyAds? The analytics stats (bounce rate, time on site, pages viewed, etc) on Juicy's ad traffic is somewhere between your average niche trade and SE traffic, closer to SE traffic though, great stuff.

stonehammer 08-28-2010 08:51 PM

plugrush is simply horrible

i send mostly usa/germany traffic - i get back mexicans and rest of the world on a 1:1 ratio

bounce rate is way high too

Jason Voorhees 08-28-2010 08:58 PM

Block those sites than, you idiot.

I think you mean 'block those sites thEn'

I really love when stupid people try to insult me. :1orglaugh I can't even imagine how empty and meaningless your life must be. Keep it up, champ. It looks like it's working out great for you.

Anyway, back on topic... Trading with PlugRush is clearly a horrible option, but what about selling them the clicks. Their site doesn't mention what they pay. I think I'll just swap it out for a test run of juicyads.

Fenris Wolf 08-28-2010 09:30 PM

I average a 75% bounce rate and 50% productivity with traffic coming from plugrush. You definitely need to filter what sources are sending you traffic. You also may want to test different landing pages and try and see if you can get a better bounce %.

I really love dumb fucks who think they know something because they pointed out 1 letter difference in the spelling of someone who is half drunk, and their only argument is the spelling mistake of that 1 word. Go back to working at McDonalds kid, because if you can do some simple trading without fucking up, you won't make it anywhere in this business.

My bad. Clearly you have your life well in order. Home alone drunk on a Saturday night talking shit on a message board. Sounds like life is going great :1orglaugh

Keep trying though. You are amusing me. You're attempt at being clever is never going to work on me though. I see right through you.

Home alone drunk? You ever heard of coming home after being out drinking? Not everyone sits at home alone and drinks like you, kiddo.

Anyway, I don't need to sit and argue with a failure at traffic trading, have fun with your shitty site.

Anyone else, PlugRush is good, just don't suck at doing such a minimal task and you'll do fine.

Peace.

Highest Def 08-28-2010 10:19 PM

good info. Definitely going to try juicy. Unfortunately I signed up last week (haven't used them yet obviously) or I'd give you the referral.

So you went out, came home alone and taking your frustrations out by being a troll on gfy. You're terrible at this. Like I said.. an empty and meaningless life. Don't stop trying though.

im getting on average $0.0066 per click, and combined with the fact that it looks like content, its better then anything else ive tried

but not sure if their sustainable or not...

Those bounce rates are extremely high

Isnt JuicyAds the guys that share their data with other companies?

http://www.xbiz.com/news/121741

Funny thing is its not piracy as long as you have user generated uploads and respond to DMCA requests so really this is kind of a sneaky way for JuicyAds to make money.

Huh?

That partnership is an effort to remove illegal websites from our advertising network. These are publishers who are pirating content and *don't* respond to DMCA requests. In fact, when its minor issues are they are resolved, the suspended account is often re-enabled.

I'm confused .. how are we earning money from this?

Im curious did you send out notice to your publishers that you will share their data with other companies? Just a question, Ive been told some things and since I have your attention might as well get direct answers.

What about advertisers data, is that shared with RYC as well?

There has not been a situation where we have provided client information to RYC regarding any of our clients. We put our clients in contact with RYC to resolve the issues. If they fail to comply with DMCA requests we stop providing our services to those websites.

Since this has nothing to do with the thread.. if you need more answers feel free to email me. I don't post here very often.

You answer is sufficient enough to satisfy my question, I will start another thread on this subject, will only use your company as an example tho.
