UFC 118 will be happening this Saturday at 10pm EST.

Here's the main card.

• Champ Frankie Edgar vs. B.J. Penn (Rematch for lightweight title)
• Randy Couture vs. James "Lights Out" Toney
• Demian Maia vs. Mario Miranda
• Kenny Florian vs. Gray Maynard
• Marcus Davis vs. Nate Diaz

My picks are Edgar, Couture, Miranda, Florian, and Diaz.

BJ Penn is going to lose to Frankie Edgar, again. Randy will submit Toney. Maia will come out guns blazing (he has to after the way he looked fighting Anderson Silva) but that will be his undoing. Florian will submit "The Bully" (The crowd will be behind Florian bigtime. He's from Boston). Finally, Nate Diaz is going to knock out Marcus Davis and earn the 'fight of the night'.

How do you guys think things will go down?

Can't wait to see what happens with Toney. Hopefully it doesn't end up like Silvia / Mercer. I will be surprised if Couture doesn't submit him in the first round though. Then Toney will bitch about him not wanting to fight like a man the way Mercer did when he lost to Kimbo.

kenny Florian ftw. Elbows. Maynard is going to take him down and smother him with wrestling, and Kenny is gonna cut him open with elbows

Nate Diaz ftw. Submission by Diaz. Davis supposedly has been working on his ground game, but he's going up against a Cesar Gracie Brownbelt with an excellent ground game and numerous wins against grapplers better than Davis.

It's only gay if they make eye contact.

don;t count gray out... he's a vegas boy.. and a wrestler.. and a good one at it... let us not forget what chael was able to do for 5 rounds with that fucking wrestling... to this day I hate wrestling day in the gym.. it beats you up the most IMO.. jits is fun... striking makes you tired ... wrestling just fucking kills you....

I'm curious if anyone is betting on Toney. I'd love to see him win, if nothing else it's getting annoying hearing every MMA writer react to Toney's shenanigans like their favorite sport is being laughed at. Couture though is way too good, and isn't the type to take a boxer lightly like say... Tim Silvia.

This might be the first UFC I buy since... shit I forget, mighta been way back in UFC 100.

My money's on Penn, don't like the guy, but I don't see him losing the rematch.

We'll see if Toney has learned to sprawl. If he sprawls successfully, good fight, maybe. If he folds over (which he prob will, maybe not fold, but this is a guy who never really wrestled.

This one is almost a joke as wrestling is so important. Miracle if Toney beats him by KO which is the only way I guess.

Hmm I missed where Edgar beat Penn. Last few fights Penn has looked great tho. I'll go Penn. Close tho. Frankie is in his prime right now and very strong.

I'll go Gray. He has looked hard as a rock and unstoppable lately. Possibly close. If close, Ken has a real good chance. If Gray is too much early Ken may go out in under one round.

Diaz for sure. Prob by take down and pound out or submission. Somewhere on the mat. He has a really good ground game.

Unfamiliar with Miranda.

Other than Davis I am with you all the way. :) And yet that is the fight I am most sure of. I cant see Davis beating Diaz. Nate will prob turn out to be better than Nick.

I laughed out loud hard with Toney's loss, I was embarrassed for him. I figured it would end that way but not so quickly and I expected him to land at least one good hard punch...

I was disappointed by Baby J, I really thought he would bring it to Edgar with an intensity we havent seen from him in awhile. But he just did not show up. I dont know who was standing in that cage but it wasn't Penn. He clearly lost all 5 rounds

Did he ever, I expected to see BJ come in there to his fullest, at his best, and determined to take the belt back, but Edgar gave it to him hard.

I thought Penn would have redeemed himself but he had no answers at all for Edgar. Maybe his best attempt at winning the fight would have been to at least try for some take downs
