This is actually more like it.

A bunch of zombies putting in 20-30 years at some mindless job with the 'hopes' they actually live long enough to collect their promised carrot at the end of the trail.

Both in money, and the health to enjoy it.

Thanks for sharing :)

Paul&John 08-26-2010 05:45 AM

JBlack 08-26-2010 05:47 AM

Sly 08-26-2010 05:51 AM

LOL. Both of those are pretty true. Need to find balance in each scenario.

CaptainHowdy 08-26-2010 05:53 AM

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahaha!

james_clickmemedia 08-26-2010 05:54 AM

working from home is not something I could do long term. Too much noise from children even with a separate office. Also if it's just you in the house & you are single gets depressing and makes you go out more at night.

sweetcuties 08-26-2010 05:58 AM

It got old quick... I did it for 8yrs, I got a part time crap job just to get out the house. I also have a few properties :thumbsup

same thing here... tho I couldn't go 8 years like that ... I am on my 3rd year and I am already looking for a part-time to socialize n get out of the house...

czarina 08-26-2010 06:23 AM

both are 100% true. So I'll keep saying it: Working from home is AWESOME!

JayDeeZee 08-26-2010 06:32 AM

I have an office that I go into a few times per week.

u-Bob 08-26-2010 06:35 AM

lol :)

quiet 08-26-2010 06:39 AM

i went from working from home (around 5 years), to having an office with employees (4 years) then back to working from home. i think both have positives and negatives, i seriously don't think i would pick one over the other in any huge sense.

Hornydog4cooter 08-26-2010 06:43 AM

Been working from home for about 4 years. At times it does get a bit depressing but i would not change it for anything. :thumbsup

GetSCORECash 08-26-2010 07:23 AM

You guys are looking at it the wrong way. Working at home isn't a "job", it's a way of life. You have to incorporate your work into your life just like anything else. Trying to keep it separate only serves to alienate you from what should be integral. You eat, sleep, shit, work out, maintain your home, care for your animals, maintain your work, and always build on or improve your life.

A job ( a real job ) is just a fucking dead end pipe dream. Working as a slave for someone else and hoping for mercy and goodwill at the end of it is for non-thinkers that are content with getting a crappy W-2 every year with half your wages gone to the government.

:2 cents:

The biggest problem of working at home is that making you very lazy.I mean,i practicly don't need to move from my room to do anything.

We all have that internal voice, and we all have a unique motivator that works for us... in the case of laziness, I tend to repeat in my internal voice, "harden up mutherfucker, life isn't over yet, mission is not complete." and that usually gets me moving. But I know a few people that need more than that, and actually stick post-it notes all over everything to remind them of their motivators... "work now, for the future", "don't be a dumbass, do your work", "get off your ass and do something physical"..... seen plenty of them.

Ultimately, there's really no excuse for laziness. Laziness is a choice. :2 cents:

No problem as long as you are actually pulling in the dough.

I'm at university and need to be active to stay focused. However I could see myself running my own joint with the right motivation.

Fundamentally it makes sense to work for yourself, but not everyone can :(

Agree with that a lot.

DWB 08-26-2010 12:48 PM

I'm sitting naked right now, working, and if I take my eyes off this screen and look into the other room, I see two Thai girls laying in my bed, nothing on but panties, watching cartoons and giggling.

Wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.

fatfoo 08-26-2010 01:44 PM

Are you feeling lonely? Pick up the phone and call to talk to someone on the phone.

Are you too fat? Diet and exercise to achieve great shape.

This man owned the dimension of the immediate physical space around him, which is the room that he is in right now.
