Crazy Heart - Anyone see this? Really good movie.
 

I just got the DVD... Jeff Bridges fucking NAILED this. After The Dude, this is his best roll.

Really good movie. It's a little slow, but it's good. Reminds me of The Wrestler, but with a country star.

I steered clear of this movie since it seemed like a slow heart aching story. I DO really like jeff's acting though. Hes a great actor in every sense.

But I will have to check it out now that DWB vouches it excellence :thumbsup

It is a slow movie. But its a good slow movie. You really get into the guy and want him to win.

Jeff did an amazing job on this one. He even sang a lot of the soundtrack, which has some good country tunes on it.

yeah the scene with the kid in the mall? didn't realize how engrossed i was in this movie until this scene. that scene brought on feelings of sadness, disappointment, etc. feelings you generally don't get from a movie unless it's THAT good. some scripts require a slow buildup to connect with the audience i guess.

Wow sounds like a good one to take in. Lots of positive reviews. Always enjoyed Jeff especially in White Squall and Vanishing.

I agree this was a terrific movie in every way--and Jeff Bridges was amazing as Bad Blake--that's why won the Academy Award for Best Actor. But yeah, it's slow and heart-achy. But in a good way few movies can achieve. It's very much worth the 2 hours of your time.:thumbsup

Jeff Bridges is a good actor, i spotted him back in 1983 Starman. Crazy Heart was good. Tho I think his beneficial movie is yet to come.

It was pretty good, you'll need a strong stomach though because its just bridges getting drunk and puking for like 80% of the film... Music was ok acting was good, story is more believable than 99% of the 'true' stories filmed these days despite being fiction.

always be leery of any review done by someone who thinks the big lebowski is 'genius' in anyway... ;)

i am in love with maggie gyllenhaal.. everytime i see her in a movie she keeps getting hotter and hotter... and yes, i know she is not that hot, but something about here is just fucking sexy...

Saw it last year... amazing movie! Not really a country fan but the movie was so much more than that.

Yeah I thought it was pretty damn good, too.

Great movie, loved the soundtrack.
