17 states ask Craigslist to cut adult ads
 

Attorneys general in 17 states have banded together to call on Craigslist, the online classified ad website, to discontinue its adult services section.

that's great. Take away the escorts section and the pros will go back to cluttering up the streets. At least this way most of them get off the streets and can work out of their house were the rest of us don't have to see them.

If they remove this section from craigslist, what will the cops use to entrap the johns???? Just asking! It's funny, because I have a friend who works for the metro here in Vegas, and they only use Craigslist when setting up a sting.

They can 'ask' all they want, doesn't mean CL will do anythng for them. I bet the owner of CL can afford to hire 17 attorneys to 'ask' the 17 attorney generals to kindly go fuck themselves.

I love reading the casual encounters ads. The erotic service ads subject titles are just too annoying to even open and not nearly as entertaining. So before hiring an escort I would use Eros-guide (followed by TER). I like pretty girls, not low-class pimped-out crack whores.

they are already moving to the adult gigs section, you just can't post a picture there so it probably requires more effort since you have to reply with pics or details since who's going to call a random # for a random whore without a picture?
