How much can average cute girl make per week or month being model on cam site?

I'm very curious what is the average out there of the "normal" nice looking girls.

I know that it really depends from the circumstances, girl charisma, and her talent to make a guy get his credit card out of his wallet and pay for the show, but still.. There have to be some amount out there that should be expected. :pimp

I'm thinking about pimpin' few girls, get nice rooms, set up everything they need, buy few cameras and set up high-speed internet. I wouldn't mind if they take 70% of the profit, but it would be good if I can tell them how much to expect to earn.

I'm thinking about this for a long time, I may not start with it till the end of this year, but I think its the great time to start preparing for it.

I'll be glad to read your opinion about this and maybe some advices :helpme

You have been waiting a while to use that, haven't you?

a Few years ago I knew models doing $10K/month in profit. I have a feeling the economy has caused that figure to decrease a lot. I would be interested in the latest numbers as well.

Ha ha I like that.

To assist Ecchi22 though realistically the answer is "how long is a piece of string?"

It depends on the models, the niche, the sites they work at, the way they work, how they look, how they perform, how honest they are with you, and how long before they realise they don't need you.

ha ha, no disrespect meant. You yourself acknowledged it was a vague question. The best way to answer such a commonly asked vague question is to research what others have said and come up with your own conclusions. :thumbsup

It all depends on how busy the site is, but some of our models are making 500-1000 a day. And once they get their costumer base. With all the tipping, they make more than that. Most of the girls aren't even that hot.

some affiliates make millions per year even now a days still, it doesn't mean much... what would you say an "average" girl makes?

Average girl if she puts in enough hours, can easily make 300.00 bucks a day.

It's not as easy as it sounds...

Not going to question you knowledge, but first its "if she puts in enough hours" (that's hard) and then we have "easily make 300.00" (now it's easy)

Want to make up your mind? Is it hard or is it easy? :winkwink:

Brilliant idea. After that you should start a TGP :winkwink:

I know thats supposed to be sarcasm :P But I take ofense to that, I started a tgp network this year that already brings in 10+ sales/day (not including rebills) and it has grown 40 percent each month. (so far) - Obviously I expect the 40 percent monthly growth to drop a bit

Also, im starting a solo girl network that includes many cam shows. Cam shows are very much still in demand.

I don't get your sarcasm ;)

for some people, like myself, "putting in enough hours" has never been hard.

LOL

Seriously though .. I run a studio through Flirt4Free.com I have 3 girls and 5 guys. One of the guys is a top 3% performer and makes $10k a month in the summer and averaged $19-25k a month last winter (this includes Flirts bonus structure as well) A typical girl thats on casually (20 hrs a week) can easily make $600/wk if shes on 30-40 hrs/wk but average looking she can do $1k a week easy.

Thank you very much guys! There are some helpful comments out there. And no, I don't think its too late to do this. I wasn't thinking about building my own site, but using something like livejasmin as master for the models.

Oh btw, I added area51 to my ignore list. Banned guy was a total freak and idiot, but he was right about many things ;)

This is more realistic. I hate ads that tell the girls that you will make $2,000 a week your very first week working only 20 hours. Being a web cam model is so much harder than people think. It is not only how you look, you also have to have the ability to put up with a lot of crap. There are a lot of assholes and beggars on web cam sites.

Yep, its about dedication, getting regulars, working and Posting a schedule so people will know when you are on. Ad the List goes on!

Yep exactly + personality/charisma. I really don't think looks are even a factor. No matter what you look like as a girl there are tons of guys that are into your look.

AmeliaG 08-24-2010 10:19 PM

In any of the areas where someone has to ask how long a piece of string is, there are absolutely industry standards and averages. There are also exceptional people who are more committed, who do better than the average.

I know a lot of cam girls and I don't think I know a single one dedicated enough to do 20 hours a week . . . I was going to say consistently, but I think I actually mean ever.

Useful stats, for what the OP asked, might be how many hours an average cam girl works and how much she is realistically likely to make on average.

You got a great point there.

So, lets say the girl is working 20 hours a week, what would be the average or expectations for weekly earnings? Pessimistic and optimistic numbers? :) :helpme

Thanks!

Yup.

It also depends on your models. The girl I was doing couples shows with was so flaky it was almost impossible to make money. After the first 2 weeks we had a steady group of regulars, and we averaging good money (70+ an hour) but could only get 8-10 hours of stream time (even less "paid time") so it wasn't even worth doing.

You could have a girl make a ton of money and work her ass off, or you could have a girl with a ton of potential that never shows up and then bitches when she doesn't make shit.

I had an offer to start a cam studio myself from a guy I know (that isn't in the industry) but seeing how much work Buck30 and JaneB do, and doing it myself I wasn't particularly interested.

On the weeks we actually put more than 2 days we'd make 3-400 bucks. But could never get her to do more than 3 days out of the week.

Haha. Having a cam studio is hard. Much harder than I thought. I guess we are lucky that most of the ladies are not flaky. You and pill popper did well when you worked. It did suck that she always flaked out on you. You need to find another hottie to do shows with. One that isn't fucking crazy.

I would ask some of the web cam site owners your questions. They can give you better answers. Most of the cam girls I know make a lot of money, but they have been web cam models for years. When I used to do web cam shows for about 25 hours a week, I made around $2,500 a week. I do web cam shows about 12 hours a week now and make at least $100 an hour. I have a regular that likes to do 3 to 4 hour shows 3 times a week. I honestly have to say personality is more important then looks. You can be hot and be a total bitch. The customers like women that are nice to them and chat with them.

Argos88 08-25-2010 04:13 PM

5K to 10K easily.. with only a few hours per day in front of cam...

webcam models are doing a shitload of money..

Rich webcam models and POOR webmasters... that's the current situation...

Yeah we'll see what happens.

Ecchi22 08-26-2010 01:33 PM

As I said, I don't think I'll start with it this year, but at least I got enough positive answers here to give it a try :)

Also, I'm thinking about being model myself, see how things are going on from a models POV, so I can explain to the girls what to expect and how to deal with it ;)

Are the numbers same for the male models, or they earn much less? :|
