A second victim claims David Stodghill molested her
 

Stodghill has been incarcerated for nearly six months since being arrested in California, then extradited to Pennsylvania, on charges he sexually assaulted a 12 year old girl.

Now, another victim has surfaced, alleging that she too was molested by Stodghill as a 13 year old girl... 11 years ago.

After the alleged incident, Stodghill left his home in Pennsylvania before police could arrest him, only to be extradited from Ocean City, MD five months later, at which time the 13 year old grew nervous and was unable to testify. The charges were dropped. After hearing about Stodghill's newest accuser, the woman, now in her mid-20s, agreed to reopen her case.

Stodghill is a former GFY troll who caused plenty of trouble for a number of members, including calling CPS a few times on people who merely disagreed with him on these forums. If you never heard of him, you're better off.

I am sure there are many more victims that we'll never know about.

It's not lookin' too good for Stodghill, at all. He going to be going away for years.

I thought statute of limitations was five years?

In child sex abuse cases in Pennsylvania, the statute of limitation is 12 years from the date the accuser turns 18.

This is especially striking because it brings into evidence a pattern of Stodghill running from the law... he ran after allegedly molesting this girl. In Florida, after police and ICE were about to question him about child porn charges he fled. And last June, after he allegedly molested a 12 year old girl, he fled to Los Angeles. (and this doesn't mention other possibly abrupt moves caused by police investigations).

I'm cautiously optimistic - law enforcement have had the opportunity and reason to arrest and prosecute Stodghill a number of times before, but have failed to either act or follow thru. That said, with ICE involved, and now at least 2 different offices of the Pennsylvania State Police, it seems they're dedicated to making sure he remains a permanent resident of the PA prison system for some time to come.
