I was watching part of Dateline the other night and they did a piece on him.

Basically, he poses as a young woman in suicide chatrooms and pretends she's going to kill herself, but "you do it first and make sure you do it on cam, then I'll go."

Turns out it's a middle-aged beer gut asshead from the midwest with what they're calling a "suicide fetish"... :Oh crap

Also, if you can be talked into killing yourself in a chat room for any reason, then you need to be removed from the gene pool.

OK so lets assume for the sake of argument that your opinion is worth the time it takes to comment on it (it's not but I am in a generous mood this morning)

You are advocating suicide as a remedy for my lack of outrage at advocating suicide. So what does that make you? At the very least a hypocrite.

BTW I agree the guy is sick and malignant and needs to be somehow neutralized - I simply think that a significant amount of the blame - by far the majority lies with the person who "pulled the trigger."

It comes down to a matter of personal choice and there are a lot of people who believe that the decision to end one's own life is an individual's right.

I don't have a position on the issue myself, but I may at some point. For now, I simply feel that if there are those among us who are too lazy to live, (that's what I consider being unable to overcome emotional anguish to the point of becoming suicidal) then the rest of us are likely better off without them.

Oh, and watch the remarks about my kids, please. Attacking a person's family, I believe is against the rules.

What are your degrees in? I don't think this is a matter of education. And if it were, what makes you so sure you are an expert on the subject?

Do you or someone close to you have issues with suicidal thoughts? Has someone close to you committed suicide or tried to? Well I am pretty sure that's universal and sorry but it doesn't make you an expert.
